When I was at Commerce bank I was greeted by a representative. I told the representative what I needed and they were able to help me with my banking needs.

After waiting 30 minutes to cash my check. They refused me of cashing my check because my account was in 0$ balance I’ve never heard of this in my life, I also asked If I could cash it and withdrawal money from my account I was told no I’d have to go to an atm, then later that day comes to find out Angela Rodewald banned my account I have no reason but to believe I was racially profiled , and disrespected. If I were you I would steer far away from here and just go somewhere else or chose another bank to bank with because ultimately the reviews do not lie. I will not recommend any of my family or friends to this bank brand in general all though I’ve cashed my checks with my bank several times before with no problem. If I could give 0 stars I would again, terrible management , co workers who never seem to know exactly what they’re doing and a terribly long wait time.

We have been a customer of this bank for over 20 years. Over the last 3 years or so their customer service has taken a severe plunge. Thinking seriously of changing banks. I waited 30 minutes for help, and when I got to the front of the line the guy basically referred me to online banking. It's almost as bad as being on hold forever just to be rerouted to an automated system. So frustrating. And they just seem to not care, and believe me they are in no hurry to help you.

Could not give me all the money I had deposited so have to go back an hour back to get all myMoney. 3 times. Now to drive 18 miles with gas high to get twice what they couldn't give in one shot

I don't know what is wrong with their phones, but I've tried to call SEVERAL times the last 2 weeks and can NEVER get in contact. Their phones always say "not available" or just straight up hang up. I'm growing increasingly frustrated with the fact I can never get the help I need without going out of my way to go to the bank for something that shouldnt be this difficult.

I had a charge with a company 4 times on 03/05. Clearly this was a mistake. Filed a dispute on 03/05. On 03/21 I still haven't received my charged back and called 6 times. Hold times totally 6+hours. They closed the case when the company gave back 1 od the 4 charges. We still have 3 more charges.. 2 needjng back.. Went to the branch in Blue Springs and the branch manager just apologized and did nothing more to help and still called like I did. Was a waste of time. Don't waste your time with them. Doing business with them 20 plus years doesing phase them clearly. Its not about the money its the customers service and the accountability.

There has now been 3 cases where I've been charged 2 times the amount on my account for 1 transaction and it take 7-10 business days for it to magically come back, meanwhile I'm out that money. They don't seem to care at all how it affects you.1/19/2022. I've now been on the phone yesterday and today for a total of 4 hours ? trying to get this resolved with the bank and ATT, neither of them are willing to take responsibility for the double charge of 195.25 and is still reflecting on my account, stating it "should" be taken care of within 7-10 business days. ? oh...I might mention, you're never transferred to the branch, only a call center to handle matters. You have to go into the branch for them to work with you. Alsoooo, at the branch they told me I'd incur NSF fees per day I was negative, which baffled me, as this is an error on them, I was told, I could reach out to one of them once this situation was handled and have the fees taken off. This is such a long process to make the customer stress over until things reside. Why is it that it takes 7-10 days to process a refund, when it took maybe 2 minutes for them to take my money. Customer service truly is gone. I'm so over it.

Mackenzie Taylor at this branch is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. I got the run around all day due to fraud on my account and ended up calling my local branch. She got it resolved almost immediately and hassle free!

After you’re finally transferred to the branch office you originally called because they didn’t answer quick enough, they are friendly and willing to assist you. The branch staff are super limited to local decision making regarding loan products. All loans go through the KC branches so you might as well fill out an online application or just plan to wait in a long line at the drive through since they are understaffed and only willing to see people by appointment since as their lobby’s are technically closed. Don’t expect your personal loan experience to be very personal and unless you have a previous banking relationship or some hard collateral don’t believe their marketing portion that says “personal loans, without collateral”. Rates are good and competitive but again, they don’t want to start a banking relationship with you unless you have a lot to give first. Your 401k, IRA, other banks stocks bonds cds or cash also doesn’t work here either as collateral. So businesses, don’t bring your receivables or insurance policies for collateral it’s only VINs here like cars RVs trailers campers ect. Also you can forget about it if you already owe money on it because if the bank can’t be first, they won’t be last. I found their ads on Google while searching for a personal loan. Was approved in a timely fashion pending collateral. Supposedly they’ll even offer a cashiers check for the full amount right away as well, just didn’t make it that far in the process. I am unsure and unable to comment on the rest of their products but hopefully this helps save people time in the future.

A bank is a bank, and these humans at this bank treated this out of town costumer top notch customer service
