Took my two small Maltipoo dogs to get groomed at BlueSprings Petco. I brought my dog vaccine papers which were typed by my veterinarian. Nicole told me she could not accept my 4 lb dog’s rabies shot because the date of the vaccine was hand written by the vet. I found this ridiculous since there is no way they can verify that the dogs I am bringing in are even who I say they are without birth certificates. It was obvious the staff just didn’t not want to work. I found the staff to be unprofessional and will consider this a sign that they would not handle my babies with care. This place is way too pricey anyhow and I will not go back. Definitely do not recommend.

This company, specifically their DM Sarah Kaiser, is firing employees and taking away their health benefits during a pandemic over the smallest things. A fresh poo in a beta cup was enough to strip families of desperately needed health care and income. Some with brand new infants and/or health compromised members. And the kicker- she fired the wrong people! The ones responsible for the "issues" she found are still there! Disgusting display of how far this "family" company has fallen!

I've never had any problems with this store. The staff has always been friendly and helpful and tomorrow I'm gonna try out the grooming section for a nail trim and see how that goes. I feel with the visits I've made so far I can trust them with my baby to trim her nails. I bet I'll be leaving another 5 stars after that is completed!

It took longer than they quoted on the time, but Bonnie looked amazing with her red fingernails. They used to paint the front and back - now just the front. Her face smelled like blueberries and her fur was very soft.

I absolutely love our doggy groomer, Jo! She has been my 2 dog's groomer for years! She loves the animals and always gives us wonderful care and guidance! Highly recommend Joann at Petco!!

1 Star for this particular location in Blue Springs. Why? They have been the rudest location I've encountered.

I have taken my dog there many times for nail trims. Always right in and out. Never had a problem. I would recommend them

My review is on the grooming side.....the groomer was very kind but after getting my dog home and really having an opportunity to look him over this weekend, I, along with others, realized just how uneven, missed sections and over all how disappointed I am with the way he was groomed. Extremely disappointed! I paid $60 for something that I probably could have done just as good. I do plan to contact them this evening and hope that they will back up their quality of work. If so, this rating may be changed, but until then, I'm very disappointed and will not be taking my dog back.

The store itself is ok it's the employees that bring this place down. Rarely anyone is knowledgeable in the fish area and it always takes a few minutes to get anyone to help you back there. Courtesy begins and also ends at the door when they greet you. If you know what your after and go in and get it your good, if you need help ... go somewhere else.

Going to Petco to get crickets 10:30 in the morning Sunday May 6th. Maybe a total of 5 customers. 1 sales associate up front, one sales associate in Aquatics helping a gentlemen with fish, a manager looking like she was cleaning the reptile cages. The sales associated called someone for help back in the back for crickets. The one sales associate that was helping a gentleman with fish no problem. The manager cleaning the reptile cages looked at me twice, didn't bother to ask me if I needed help. big problem!. She was paged to the front of the store. After 10 minutes I walk to the front of the store, she was chit-chatting with a friend. I Asked the sales associate if there was anyone else to help me, because the manager just looked at me and didn't bother asking if I needed help. Sales associate said oh Jill and then laughed, no there's no one else. I walked back to the back looking for another sales associate, there was no one available to help. I walk back up to the front of the store, manager was still chit-chatting with a friend, told the manager and the sales associate I'll be back when someone decides to do their job and help people. Never have I experienced such poor customer service at the store. It's always been top-notch . of course it's always been probably when the head managers been around and everyone decides to work because they want to save their jobs

The staff of this store is okay. They aren't very friendly but they weren't rude. If you are looking to buy pet supplies from this store, go ahead, they are a bit overpriced. But under NO circumstances should you EVER buy an animal from this store. While shopping at this store, I witnessed horrific neglect to the small animals. Rats and Mice with fur missing, little room in each cage for the animals to healthily live. But what REALLY got to me was there terrible, and I mean terrible, mistreatment of leopard geckos. I've researched tons about this amazing creatures, and the treatment of these beautiful lizards was horrific. Leopard geckos are supposed to have at least two hides inside their tank (three hides are ideal though). Along with this, leopard geckos should never be kept together because of their tendency to fight with each other. The lizards at petco were very skinny, many were crammed together and only had one hide. When complaining to the staff, they didn't seem to know what they were doing was wrong, and didn't pay much attention to my education. Overall, don't go to this location, or any petco that you see housing skinny, or sick looking animals. Don't give profit to companies who exploit beautiful animals
