Pretty good range. Not expensive and pretty modern, have been there a bunch recently since moving to the area. I won't be going back unfortunately. Was asked for my tax stamp for my suppressor which I did show and did shoot since I was already there. On principle though I won't go back. Their range, thier rules but I carry my paperwork for the atf not my local gun store. Suppressors shouldn't be regulated by the government and those regulations shouldn't be supported by local gun ranges, and is not required to be. Just posting for a FYI to people. Lower my review because of the snobby response from owner. You only asked for my government paperwork not to see my can. Could have been shooting a 30-06 through a 22 can. Better start checking each can and each gun for a matching caliber or better yet just hold everyone's hands out on the range.

The guys there claim to follow all local, state and fed law but yet they don't know the laws. Tried buying a firearm there and they wouldn't sell it to me because I didn't have proof of residency

I have been here a few times to just shop around, use the range and pick up a firearm I ordered online each time the staff is friendly and helpful with any questions I have had I seen some of the negative reviews and never experienced any of those issues or seen them while there especially about the range of you just follow the rules and shoot safe on the range you won’t have a problem I’m looking to purchase a membership as I live close to here

Been going here for years. Shooting range is always clean. The owner Derrick is an absolutely stellar guy. They’re all good people. Scotty and Melody went out of their way to help me out. Much appreciated!

My favorite store to grab my shooting supplies from. I love the range here the staff are very knowledgeable and are overall pretty cool people! I highly recommend checking Target Time Defense out I have been coming here for years!

Stopped by for the first time today to drop off my rifle for repair, Everyone was nice despite being very busy and Wen the gunsmith took the time to address my concerns about my rifle, So stay tuned for further reviews.

I have not had a single bad experience with Target Time or any of its employees. This is my favorite gun store to go too, everyone is laid back, nobody is pushy about sales. Super knowledgeable group of people that are easy to communicate with.

Best and most honest gunsmith I've met. Took my Springfield Prodigy from factory to near Staccato standard. He works damn hard, and is the only gunsmith I'm going through period.

If you're looking for a place like that, this veteran-owned and operated range/shop is the perfect fit. The team is passionate about what they do and brings real-world experience to the table. Every time I have a question, they take the time to answer it thoroughly, making sure I feel supported and excited to learn. Their genuine enthusiasm for helping others enjoy firearms and have a great experience is contagious. I can't recommend them enough. The friendly, welcoming atmosphere makes returning to their range/shop something I always look forward to. Plus, their prices are incredibly reasonable—whether it's range fees, ammo, or firearms, they aren't trying to charge an arm and a leg. They’re fair and affordable, which is hard to find these days.

Only 5-STAR range in my opinion and I’ve been to all of them here in KC. Always clean, everybody there is always pleasant to talk to and range safety is always their number one priority as it should be. Great full time professional gunsmith on site as well.

I was excited to find a new range in Kansas City as I've been to most of them but I was very disappointed when I was told that I would not be allowed to use my NFA items unless they can check and verify the serial numbers. For this reason I will not be returning to this facility. Store looks nice and clean employees are friendly and helpful, But I will not be sharing my confidential documents with somebody who is under no obligation to verify them.

Used Target Time’s gunsmith services for new trigger and adjust my red dot on my p-320. Shooting/Sighting are better now than out of the box new. Great work WM! Thank You.
