We're done with this Walgreens, the pharmacy techs aren't helpful , friendly or even professional. For several months we've thought about changing due to having constant issues with this location, I've been holding out hope that they could get their act together, they just aren't. Yes, we've spoken with the Pharmacist, and the store manager. This instance, we had a needed prescription called in; we weren't notified for two days why it was \"delayed\" I called and after a 20 minute wait, learned that it was \"out of stock\" and they didnt know when the order was coming in. ( come on people, it's not rocket science and you can't blame Covid forever ) this is a common med, that was not in stock or they couldn't relay when it would be? She wouldn't look for another location to see if they had it in stock, she said she \"didnt need to stay on the phone and look at every other locations stock\" then hung up. Now, with that said, the Walgreens on N. 7 was so much more helpful, they also didn't have it in stock, but had some on order and offered to look for another location that did have it. She found two, and gave me the phone number to call. I called the third location in Indep. on 23rd and Sterling, they were more than happy to transfer the prescription for us and fill it. South 7 could take some customer service lessons from their co workers at North 7 and 23rd and Sterling. Good Luck to you if you choose to use South 7 hwy. Blue Springs.

Lady at the pharmacy was very rude and so concerned with closing in 30 minutes that she refused to have my prescription transferred or answer my questions.

I was sorting my pills for the coming week and found that I didn't have enough of a certain pill. I had just had this new prescription filled on 5/18 and it was suppose to be for a 30 day supply. (Now I don't know about anyone else, but I don't recount my pills when I get them home to see if the correct amount is in the bottle). I called the this pharmacy and requested to speak with a pharmacist, I was transferred and then sat on the line for over 5 minutes listening to it ring, at which point I was disconnected from the line and transferred to the survey. I have been using this pharmacy for over 26 years, it's a mile from my home BUT this was the last straw. I have had my scripts resynced several times so they all can be refilled at the same time but this store is constantly messing this up. Causing me to make multiple trips in a week. I will be switching to the Walgreens on South 7 Hwy. Plus the turnover rate of pharmacy techs is very high, thats should also be a clue too.

Very hardworking staff, in the store and pharmacy, but very short-staffed. Big corporations like this should enable their locations to hire more and pay better to meet customer needs. I see long lines of people waiting for prescriptions and shots and to check-out. Thankfully everyone looks happy, because the staff works fast and shows great customer service. Store is clean & well kempt. Great work!
