I recently purchased a vehicle through a dealership in Carthage, Missouri and I was forced to use their own financing. I was desperate to get out of the old car I had been driving because it was falling apart and I travel for a living. So I took the deal of the outrageous interest rate and contacted US Bank in Bolivar, Missouri to talk to them about doing a refinance as soon as possible. I got a phenomenal interest rate and the employee that helped me went above and beyond normal expectations from anyone I am used to dealing with in public. She was so attentive and helped get me through every step of the way even though the dealership tried so many tactics to delay my refinance. This bank and their services exceeded my expectations and I will definitely be doing a lot more business at this location. Thank you US Bank and that special employee that went above and beyond to help me through a difficult situation.

Best banking experience I've had. They have always went out of their way for me. From opening my account for me right at closing time, to the woman teller going above and beyond and walking out to the drive thru to assist me with the app! I'm not one to always write a Google review but felt they definitely deserve the credit. 10/10 would recommend this bank!

I just want to say I came into the bank very frustrated completely stressed out and a beautiful young lady named Janelle was so helpful calming and help me get everything organized and straighten out with he's she's an amazing customer service representative thank you Janelle!

US bank is the worst bank I have ever had The displeasure of banking with. I had heard stories and was told not to bank with them, but did it anyway. Big mistake. They will charge you fees, like a monthly maintenance fee and overage charges even though you told them you did not want your account to be able to overcharge or overdraft. I did not want or need that. If you go into the negatives, they will close your account down without even contacting you. And your account will go to collections. At least it did with me. Now I owe some agency $208. This bank did not even give me a warning or a notice “hey we are closing your account. No. They will do it anyway. Horrible bank branch. At least this one in Bolivar MO. It’s no wonder most it’s reviews are 1 star. They helped me here and there, it was going good until they did this. Really ? No phone call ? Just close my account. Big middle finger.

I had someone put a charge on my debit account. I was taken care of at the counter by a lovely lady. She got me a new card # and got the other one locked. She got me a temporary card and ordered me a new permanent card. Very professional and polite. Thank you.

Not just "Bolivar" branch in particular (I live in Buffalo where they have closed), US bank has gone down the toilet. Closed so many locations its awful to try to do anything at thier overcrowded open ones. Line always backed to the road and lobby closed. They put out a new ATM in town to try to compensate...went there today and it wont even take deposits. I use the app for everything I can but unfortunately an app can't take cash.

The local branch is small, so I understand that they wouldn’t hire a lot of staff. However, the customer service is the absolute worst I have ever encountered. I can’t get anyone to answer the phone. I’ve waited anywhere from 10-30 minutes to ask if they’ve opened the lobby. (Last time I checked, the lobby was closed, although website still says they close at 2). TWO o’clock!Complicating things further is the drive-thru. Each lane is normally 4-5 cars deep (at least). I have waited a minimum of 30 minutes every single time (I go once a month) to make a single check deposit. Not only is the wait time ridiculous, the tellers drill you with questions about their banking app and all the ways you can avoid being in their drive-thru. Also, if you’re unfortunate enough to go anywhere within an hour of their closing time, they put up cones and refuse to serve anyone beyond the cones. I was even accused on one occasion of moving their precious cones, which I did not.My impression is this. They DO NOT want you. Oh, they want your money. Not you, the customer. They certainly do not want to provide any kind of customer service. I think the one star I’m giving this bank is GENEROUS.
