I was a part of the student foster program last year; it was my first time volunteering with them. I fostered so many cats in my time there. This month, I adopted my sweet cat and the adoption process was so wonderful. Adopting my cat was the first time I have soley taken care of a cat (other than my past fostersand my parents' cats). People at Second Chance kept in contact with me after the adoption to make sure my cat was well and they offered all of the proper paperwork and gave me suggestions on what to do with food, medications, litter, and vet services. You can really tell how much the people who are involved with SC care, and every animal deserves that.
