“There is a wait list since no tenants move out very often. I've been living here for 2yrs after waiting 3yes to get my home. They are all Villas. I live in a handicap Villa with plenty of space. Adequate dining room, living room, kitchen with island (microwave, stove, refrigerator and washer and dryer all included along with ample parking. My neighbors are all very friendly and look out for each other. We have game nights, potluck and are a close nit 55 and older community. No kids live here but we love it when the grandkids visit! There is a park adjacent to the complex. The complex is income based rentals and very affordable. The office has a gym! Its a very safe and peaceful place to live. Out my front door I get to see the sunset everyday. The other thing I love is we keep our porches and front yards decorative and clean. I wanted to move away from city life and came to Bowling Green Mo from St Louis Mo. The air is definitely cleaner. Walmart, Dollar Tree, Dollar General, Tractor Supply Store are walking distance from Heritage Place. In the town square there is a library, Restaurant/Bar, Post Office and City Hall, a Cafe with homemade pies.”
