“Love this walmart not as big as mexicos but the people are friendly which you don't see much of anymore in most walmarts and the place is always clean anytime I've asked for assistance I've gotten it and when I went in this week to randomly buy 6 different kinds of paint the guys who made them didn't complain or whine or anything he did his job and actually kept every friendly conversation about how him and his wife had used two of the colors I was purchasing for their bedroom and how the colors really complemented each other which might not seem like much but compared to the experience I've had at Troy walmart from the unfriendly workers to everything being locked up bc the people out there can't not steal to the bomb threat pranks in the store that made me have to leave all my groceries in the checkout line just to find out 3 hrs later it was just a prank smh so compared to Walmart like that id say bowling Green and mexico are a lot more friendly than the one in Troy or ofallon”

“See below for current review on 1/24/24 12/22/23. Something has definitelychanged. Called in meds earlier this week and were ready the next day. One faux pas: I called in three but only two were filled. Said only had 2 requests. No. Fixed that small problem and it’s ready today. BRAVO!!!Really prefer writing upbeat reviews.1/24/24OK. I’m a believer. I switched my scripts to this business last week. They took good care of me. Did all required in a timely manner. The wait when picking up medswas acceptable, actually no wait at all. They’ve always been polite and helpful, that has continued. The service has improved markedly. I now feel quite comfortable doing business here. I recommend this pharmacy to all.Returned to this business today(see below) and asked what the problem was. Brenda the pharmacist told me they take care of customers in the store first and that they aren’t paid enough by the insurance companies to be able to hire enough or more competent people. They work at the pace they do so as to be sure to not make mistakes. They do however have technology in place for customers to order meds and and be texted when they are ready. I had to ask specifically about each piece of technology. The information was not offered. Maybe she would have gotten to that if I’d waited. The information on the technology should be posted prominently on the website. Maybe I just missed it. Again Brenda was very nice but had practiced this speech and delivered it many times. From what she told me customers will just have to wait if they choose to do business at Bowling Green Pharmacy.Having an option to big pharma in town is a definite plus. I want to support this locally owned pharmacy but yesterday, 11/28/23 was not a good start. We were led to believe the scripts would be ready Tuesday morning I went to pick them up at 2:30, waited 20 minutes to be told come back in a little while. I said “be back in an hour”. 3:45 went back still not ready and one still had to be ordered. Was told to call before coming after remainder of order. ?‍♀️?‍♀️No wonder the phone is ringing constantly.I really want to use this pharmacy. There seems to be plenty of employees, the people seem to be busy but there is a definite problem.Inefficiency? Not enough tech licenses?I don’t know but this really needs fixing. On a positive note everyone is nice, personable (but obviously used to complaints.)”

“I needed a prescription that was going to cost me $500.00 at another pharmacy. I checked at this pharmacy with a coupon I find online to see if it would reduce my price by more than 80%. I did have to wait in line, and then the workers answered all of my questions and were able to fill my script. They took the time to call another pharmacy and have my script sent over, and showed me how to use the online coupon. For having no control over what insurance companies charge or deny, waiting on doctors offices to call and approve things, having costumers grumpy that they are required to see a doctor to get more medication, getting yelled at by people who are upset at their insurance company, their misfortune of being ill, or life in general, I feel that the majority of these workers work hard and do their job all day long. They are in a thankless job where everyone wants what they want immediately, and sometimes that's not possible due to laws out of their control. I was very impressed with my experience. It is always very busy, and there are always people in line waiting, but i don't see anyone in the pharmacy just chatting or hanging out. They are all working, all the time. Do I wish prescriptions cost less? Sure, but once again, that's not their fault. Thanks!”
