On vacation and my car overheated on Sunday morning (planned to leave the following Monday morning). Eventually I made it to the body shop parking lot and left a message on the answering machine because they were closed. I followed up Monday at 0800, right when they opened, talked to Pat and explained my situation. He called me back a little while later, explained what he thinks it would take to get me home ( Central Illinois about a 7 hour drive) safely and provided a reasonable quote for parts/service. He stayed in contact with me throughout the day and even admitted that he had accidentally ordered the wrong part and that ETA would be later in the day. I appreciate the honesty and the open communication! Car was finished after business hours, he called to ask if they could keep it overnight so they can test drive for a final inspection in the morning. At this point, I had already committed to staying an extra night so this didn't bother me. However, I'm sure if I needed to leave that night, he would have stayed later so that I could've picked up my car - he's just that type of person/business owner.When I checked out, there were a few more things that they saw needed some maintenance. If I lived in this area or had the time to stay longer, this is where I would have my car serviced. My experience supports what most of the other reviews mentioned. Good service, great communication, reasonable prices and overall great experience (considering the situation).

While travels out of town on a 30 day getaway, we had run up on our oil change interval. Called several shops that either had a disconnected telephone number or who just did not answer. I left a message on the phone for Advanced and shortly thereafter received a call back from the owner. It's great to get a response when too many shops just don't seem to have their act together. He gave me a referral to another shop since he was too booked to handle my job, so we moved on but owner was very professional and I'd use them again!

Being a mechanic daughter and working costumer service makes me have high expectations and let me tell you!!! The experience with them was just AWESOME. They are efficient. They contacted me right away. They had great customer service, great people and I definitely recommend this place as the were the ONLY ones in town willing to change my transmission filter. So I can reassure you over and over that they are THE BEST IN TOWN!!!Service: Auto maintenance

I'm not going to write a review as I didn't go there. However, I did speak with them and they were helpful with information and so on. That alone gets a 3.5 in my estimation. If the service is as good, its a 4.5 - 5.0 all day long.

Took my car in for engine lights and possible timing issues,,, they said it was out of oil and filled it up and said it was fine..... Next day it broke down... Completely... Had it towed back now waiting to hear if it just needs ..a motor

I was very impressed with the services provided. The crew was great with staying in touch with DX and estimates to fix my AC. Although I wasn’t able to approve the necessary repair for my van due to my own financial restraint, they were able to provide an alternative that could help me through the summer. They were very polite and professional and the repairs were very affordable. Highly recommend.
