They're more expensive than their competitors... BUT they've always done right by me. They're work is done correctly and they provide photos of what is wrong. They're waiting area is great ESPECIALLY if you have to wait with a child (a whole room with a television and toys for your little one to play). I also appreciate that there a Christian company.

I was very happy with the repair work and especially the level of customer service. Nikki was knowledgeable about the issues and she got us in quick for diagnostics. Andrew communicated well during the entire process. Our van drove beautifully back home for the 650 mile trip. Thank you so much!

I’ve always had a great experience at BAT Boys. They are very professional, friendly and work fast. They are also really good at explaining things to people who don’t know much about car maintenance. I’ve heard some people say they are too pricey, but honestly, for my VW Jetta, I feel like I get the best price possible here because VWs are just expensive in general. I’ll keep going here as long as I live in the area.

We were in Branson vacationing and needed an oil change. I did a search on reviews and saw that B.A.T Boys had great reviews. I got an appointment with them and they were very professional along with reasonable prices.

Got to town on vacation, car ran hot. My husband does most of our repairs, but we did not bring tools with us. He knew what to problem was and told them that, priced the part at the parts house. They ran a diagnostic. Charged $120 for the diagnostic. Replaced fan motor and .module. We were not there more than two hours between the wait, diagnostic time and repair time. Bill was $750. Overcharged us $300. Charged us two hours of labor for a 30 minute repair. Book time is an hour. Please if you are from our of town, do not us they guys. Where we are from, the diagnostic fee is subtracted from the bill if you have it repaired there. They get you on both ends literally at this place and not ashamed about it. Again please don't use the guys, they take advantage of people from our of town in a bad spot. So Happy Anniversary trip to us. With that bill, will not be another trip for a long time. So the response I received was all the technical stuff I expected, but to add to the story, I have worked in the Auto Industry for over 30 years, working with Sales, Service, etc, so I know what the standards are, and your standards, well I will just leave that as it is. The Auto Group I work for has over 30 dealerships in the group so I fully understand about technicians and the pay. But your high quality technician didn't even reset the check engine light, so we had to handle that. Your local warranty does out of towners no good, but he you made an attempt at local advertising for yourself. Just know that in our line of work, this overcharging is not acceptable, but if it makes you feel better to try to explain it away, that's your choice. Just want out of town travelers aware of how you conduct business. Not worried about what the locals think or do. So have a great week and sleep well. Oh and those scripture quotes you have around, definitely do not apply here, just saying. Might need to rethink that strategy. Oh one last thing, your bills should be transparent, Break down diagnostic fee, hours for labor and how much per hour, parts cost, and tax. Not everything lumped in one or two things. Makes it look like you hiding something. Have a great week.

I recently purchased a newer used truck for my company and began experiencing brake issues. After spending time and money with several local mechanics outside the area—none of whom could resolve the problem—I did some research and came across Bat Boys. I’m glad I did.
From start to finish, the experience was excellent. The team at B.A.T Boys quickly and accurately diagnosed the issue, completed the repairs within a day, and had me back on the road making money. Their professionalism, efficiency, and expertise truly stood out.
I highly recommend B.A.T Boys and will definitely be using them for all future service needs.

Andy was super kind and helpful. They confirmed they didnt want to do any damage to attempt at fixing my car so they didnt charge me a dime. Not often you get a company willing to try for free.

I needed a battery and was from out of town. The crew rearranged their schedule to help us. They installed a battery and made sure we were taken care of. We can't thank them enough for being professional and real people ready and willing to help us

As a tourist, I highly recommend this shop to you. Breakdowns on the road are the worst. The staff were able to get my vehicle in and back on the road. Yes, there prices are just like the shops back home.

Ac repair. Within the last month we contacted B.A.T boys to check out and repair our a/c system in the car. They charged us heavily for the inspection and told us it was the condenser. They had a problem getting the part in so our time frame was delayed. After they replaced the part and over billing us, plastics from under the engine they put on, fell off leaving us with a car we feared to operate. After much time talking with them and trying to get them to do something about it they finally put the pieces back on. And no time at all the they a/c fails to blow cold air again. And I am once again talking with them to find out when they can check it out, again. I’m hoping this isn’t going to be another one of those shops where they replace 10 things before they find out what’s the real problem is. The biggest thing,besides having pieces fall off the car that they put on, is the fact that, after they collect your money they have no interest in fixing their mistakes
* edit
After replacing the condenser in the first round if attempts of fixing a/c and fitting me in for the second attempt, they have found “an additional”leak in the evaporator coil under the dash. The time quoted to be fixed was met but the dollar quoted to be paid was for a second time more then what they stated. The first time was on paper so they honored that price, the second repair was was a verbal quote. They are really good about letting you use a loaner car free of charge and I can’t complain about that. And this is the reason I have agreed to change the original rating of one star to three at bat boy’s request

Right rear tire of a brand new vehicle was punctured while driving home on the day we bought it! Got a quote on an order for a brand new tire (with shipping and labor) of about $500. But when we got the car to BAT Boys, they offered to forego the original quote and patch it for only $30 with a high quality seal. They could easily have ignored the possibility of the patch and taken the bigger profit on a complete tire replacement, but they were honest and recommended the right service that we needed. Saved us hundreds! Did a great job, and we tell everyone looking for car service in Branson to go to BAT Boys.

Overpriced, dishonest, and manipulative. They overcharge you for fixing your car and don’t even fix the problem the first time. I’ve been to bat boys multiple times and I’ve spent well over $1,000 with them just for them to not fix my car. I took it to a friend and they told me what was wrong with it and I ignored them thinking they were wrong; they weren’t. They have avoided fixing what was actually wrong twice. The first time I was able to fix it on my own for $30 that’s not what they told me they said about $200. The second time I went in they admitted to “missing” it. You literally can’t miss it I’m not a mechanic I know very little about cars and I knew what was wrong and quickly realized that they did not fix it the first time because they knew I’d be back to fix it. They were going to charge me $700 so I took it somewhere else and they fixed it for $200. I haven’t had a problem with the car they were struggling so hard with since. I thought I was sold a lemon and was getting upset and going to go back to the dealership. Nope, it was bat boys problem I was actually sold a good car I just had a horrible business working on my car. I won’t even say horrible mechanics because it’s clear that this issue was coming from the top down. To all the mechanics that work there go find an honest shop where you can take pride in your work. And to bat boys be honest and stop doing half jobs for double and triple the price you’ll get more business and less reviews like this.
