I went in for someone to help me with a picture I took of a lawn mower. I was passed off to someone who knew the same amount I did, how to use Google.
She was fine, but the Sir I was trying to wait for to get any guidance, wasn't willing to say anything except bring in parts or a manual. I was willing to be patient and wait for his assistance, though he seemed to have a full day ahead of him to refuse any other conversation or even look at my picture to show me where to look.
Yall however have a great Christmas and Halloween decoration department, we did stay for that before heading home to grab the mower parts for O'Reillys.

Chronically understaffed, can’t get help, confusion at checkout. Unfortunately this is similar to most/all Home Depots.

Third place was more nice and cleaner than my local store. Their Halloween selection is so small. Kind of a let down.

Home Depot is amazing - they have everything - the store is Huge - and they have the best selection of things for home projects and even industrial grade projects - their Halloween display is super creepy and fun to watch -

Went here on 8/22 to get concrete bags and when I asked the people working the register if I could purchase concrete and then load it from the pallets outside they said that wasn’t an option and that I had to get it from the isle. The two at the register just went back to talking and never asked if I wanted help. This meant I was going to have to lift every bag twice. The bags in the isle were impossible to get down, so I left and went to Lowe’s. At Lowe’s I mentioned to the cashier I needed concrete and the first thing she asked was if I needed help and then I was able to take bags from outside when I only had to lift them once.

When purchasing $106.90 worth of materials from Home Depot my card was declined which was a shock but the clerk said to try again so I did. Later that day when checking my bank account on my phone I saw that it posted $106.90 twice, so I called my bank to let them know what had happened and they said don’t worry about it. It will probably fall off after midnight. They will catch it well it didn’t so I called my bank and they said they couldn’t do anything about it? I would have to go to Home Depot since it had hard posted . I took a copy of the charges out of my bank from my bank and the receipt and my cell phone showing my account to Home Depot where I was told it would fall off in the next 24 hours so I called my bank to check on that and they said no after it hard posted it will not fall off , so I asked to speak to the manager and when Susan the manager came and told me that looking in there computer system, I was only charged once so they could not refund me so I put her on the phone with my bank so that my bank could explain to her that I was charged twice no matter what the computer says, and Susan decided that she would refund my money for being charged twice and told me that since I was being refunded everything that they were paid, I could no longer shop at Home Depot my card would be flagged. Way to treat a customer who came to shop in your store was charged double Was upset and took the time and the gas to drive all the way back from Kimberling city back over to your store to argue with you to the point of being upset again and being treated like I’m doing something wrong instead of calling the credit card company and finding out where the malfunction is way to go Home Depot don’t worry about flagging my card. I won’t be back!

I went there and bought paint. Spoke with the associate and decided on a paint from their price chart. It was $29.99 a gallon. When I got to the register it was $38.98! I went back and asked why and their price is for flat paint only! It wasn't the cost difference, it was the deception! I asked for semi gloss and wasn't told that cost more. Nowhere does the sign for cost say it cost more for anything that's not flat paint. Change your sign and tell what the difference is so people have a choice.

It is June (Father's Day Month) we go to HD to buy a big stand up toolbox (Huskey) HD cannot find the one box they have in the store. They don't know where it is? They have 2 floor models with matts for drawers missing and some dents. The employee takes our name and number. He says he will search the store on the top shelves and call when he finds it. UNACCEPTABLE.! They don't know where it is?? Fathers Day Month. All the toolboxes should be on the floor in boxes ready to go. I know we will never hear from these people. They lost a $700 sale. Another man was looking at same box. I told him to forget about it. Follow us to Lowes. Thanks for nothing.

Home Depot is just like most big box stores these days. Don't go there expecting any of the staff to know anything but prices. If you have questions ask them before you go there, preferably someone else. You can save money on most things. Keep in mind that you usually get what you pay for.

Love it when Home Depot has what I'm looking for, because it saves me having to drive another twelve miles round trip to get to another home improvement store. And their prices are pretty competitive too.
