My business was needing to change insurance companies and they were first on the recommended list, but they should have been at the bottom, or scrubbed completely from that list. Terrible customer service, spoke to their "Business Risk Account Manager", who promised me it would be an easy task, I signed forms, and then waited two months to finally hear back from them who told me they needed to "add" more insurance I felt was completely unnecessary, as per their "management" requirements, and if I didn't like it I could go to other insurance agencies they actually listed, (TRUST ME I HAVE). They didn't understand my business and didn't even ask any questions about it, literally none. Zero communication, and when there is some it's pretty condescending, like you must be desperate for their help. Terrible experience, and I would recommend anyone else up to and including the old insurance vending machines they used to have at the airport, even it would have better customer service.

Awesome staff and they want the best for their clients! You can't ask for more than that. Usually insurance agencies are more about the money than clients' well being, but not Akers and Arney. They are honest and top notch!!

With my various businesses and real estate properties, I have dealt with several insurance agencies over the years. With regret, I must admit that Akers & Arney are strongly lacking with it comes to good customer service. I have been made to feel very unimportant to them... and when it comes to making any kind of claim, they try to talk you out of it... using what seemed to be scare tactics in order to get you to just pay for the damage yourself.
I left messages for the co-owners of the company, Edd Akers and David Arney, and neither took the time to even return my phone calls. The poor customer service apparently starts at the top and trickles down.
Very disappointed in this company after having been a loyal customer for 8+ years. I have switched to a different agency.

These guys are great! The Employer Advantage program they offer really helps save time in managing employee issues-ask for Jonas Arjes. Highly Recommended to any business needing insurance coverage.
