The Cottage is super-welcoming, and ideally located whether you are seeking a quiet getaway near the lake or the liveliness of the Branson shows and shops. It's near to Silver Dollar City and to restaurants, though, with their fully equipped kitchens, you could certainly cook all meals at your cottage or apartment if you like. This is a family-owned business, and they go the 2nd and 3rd mile to be sure their guests have an enjoyable time. If you forget something, the on-site market probably as it. They also deal well with the unexpected, such as a storm-related power outage (which happened during my stay). I hope to visit at least annually!

I made a reservation online through Expedia. I've used them before countless times without issue. Till I booked a weekend for my daughter and I at this place. Expedia stated I already paid half of what was owed. I get a call from the resort stating they didn't take the payment. She states "that's why they call" she felt the need to repeat herself very condescending. When something says I paid. I expect a payment to be made. Not at your discretion ma'am. This is very poor business practices for people on a budget. She had the nerve to scoff at me as well. I asked her to wait till Friday, that's when she practically laughed at me. It's only 4 days till Friday not a entire week. I guess they don't need the money that badly. In order to post this review, you have to give at least one star they're definitely not deserving of.

These are decent cabins to stay at. They're away from Branson downtown so quiet at night. The facilities including a pool, fire Brazier with seating, charcoal BBQs, a covered pavilion with picnic benches and a giant connect four and corn hole. It's an easy walk to table rock Lake front. The cabins were fairly clean (until my young nephews took residence, Ha ha!). They have a convenience daily system with a notepad. You check off what you need like toilet paper or kitchen towels and put the paper out on a clip each day. You put your garbage out and used linens out to get replaced. Service is friendly and attentive with a convenience store for everything you forgot. The only thing that could be better is the beds. They really aren't that comfy. They sink so your back isn't straight and you wake up with a bit of a sore back.

New Owners, Heidi and Tony are just the best. They go above and beyond to make sure you're taken care of. Their Cottages are extremely affordable, nice, and clean. They have a nice variety of items at their store and most importantly, they aren't price gouging people. Make this place your stop and stay on your way to the lake!

We wanted this to be good. Indian point is a prime location for those going to Silver Dollar City and The Cottage Resort looked quaint and just what we were looking for online. In person it was another story. "Quaint" was actually run down and dirty. Our bed smelled like urine once our body heat warmed it up. Let that sink in... The same mattress' box spring was horribly stained with...your guess is as good as mine (blood?!). Those things alone warrant a one star review, but it's not the whole story. The sink had a large rusted hole where the overflow drain should be. The keys would not work in the locks. The floors were dirty, not dusty, dirty. The living room furniture was worn out and the arms were so dirty from years of use and no upkeep. Now here's the clincher: it was $145 a night. Where in the world is that money going?! Our advice? Keep your free disposable plastic water bottles, mints, and coupons for more water and clean your cabins. Buy new furniture. Put waterproof mattress covers on the beds. Please! We want to patronize Mom 'n Pop businesses but when you fail at basics we can't. We purchased 2 nights and left after one for a chain hotel. A less expensive, cleaner, newer chain hotel.

We rented a cabin for the weekend here and it was great! Clean, comfortable, spacious, and great screen porch! The resort market was open early and late, nice pool, marina within walking distance, and pet friendly. Cozy, perfect little place!
