“My 18 yo son and I popped in on a lark to see some Palissy ware from the website in person. Robert was welcoming, gracious and full of great information. His gallery has a terrific collection of French porcelains and furniture, plus a wonderfully eclectic gathering of paintings and decorative arts.”

“Brian and his team did a fantastic job on our estate sale. We had 60 years of things accumulated in our mom and dad's house which needed to be gone through. Brass Alligator was able to go through it all and display everything in a creative way. The pictures, and captions, shared on an estate sale site were humorous and drew you in. I highly recommend Brass Alligator for your estate sale”

“Really nice and huge antique mall, all sorts of stuff! There's a huge selection of old comic books, lots of old toys, dishes, teapots, linens and I was shocked at how much retro/vintage clothing they had! Lots of Tupperware and action figures. Something for everyone! They didn't open until 11 am but there was a taco bell nearby that filled that time!”

“What a cute little shop. Recently discovered the shop of resale items. From what I understand people donate items and they resell them and the profits go towards the Missouri botanical Garden. There are a lot of little hidden treasures in here. We found that the prices were a little high for resale store, but it's going to a good cause. They have a lot of glass items like knickknacks for your house and full china sets. They have a great selection of antique jewelry as well. Lots of interesting lamps. My friend bought one that was just perfect for her Bedroom. They also have dining tables and a little bit of other furniture. If you're ever at the garden, you might as well stop by to take a peek and see if you find any little hidden treasures. The staff is always happy to help you search for a particular item that you might be looking for.”

“Theiss Plating is a treasure, a valuable resource for metal refinishing. They provide high quality metal refinishing craftsmanship, attention to detail, advice and service to the St. Louis area for over 70 years. I saved allot of money by keeping my kitchen cabinets hardware and having Theiss plating powder coat them. The finish is excellent and tough.”

“Awesome place to find items for your restoration projects! Reagan is great, very reasonable and organized. Building where located is part of old Lemp Brewery/International Shoe so that's cool to look at too.”

“Mr. Szelag did a first class restoration of an 1870s painting by my wife's great, great uncle, a world renowned artist. Mr. Szelag renewed the frame as well, which was a big plus since we were used to seeing it in raw condition. The renewal of the painting made us think we were looking at it for the first time, the change was that dramatic.”

“Just visited the neatest curated vintage shop on Cherokee Street! It's not as big as some of the others, but the items are more specialized: It's mostly living room/den/bar furniture and decor. Very midcentury. Prices are good and the owner (I think owner) was friendly and helpful. We hope to return soon (and maybe buy a few pieces if they're still there)!”

“I had a nice discussion with the Owner (she deals with antique and vintage toys plus other things) who’s been in business 43 years and she was helpful and shared information with me which was nice to find someone willing to take 7 minutes out of their day to help another person. She probably knows about everything in the Antique area of Cherokee and more. Thanks -Robyn.(We just spoke /Friday night at 6:20 pm)”

“Expensive and most of the items were dated. Meaning older. If you want older quality furniture and items then this is your place to shop. Definitely overpriced, one of the couches was even stained and dingy.”

“LOVE this shop. Top end antiques. The owner, Cherri, is a delight and so much fun to talk to. She is knowledgable, helpful, loves her business, and is totally honest about what she sells (will tell you what is a knock-off and not an antique). Most of all, she loves St. Louis.”

“Cherokee street for antique shopping is great. This is where I would take people, not from St Louis to show them we have cool stuff. There are some antique shops on this street that have some nice things.”

“Stopped by here today with my husband and was delighted to find them open after a long pandemic closure. We had never been inside, but I had been eyeing the beautiful antique chest of drawers in their window for a year and a half. I assumed it was outside of my price range, but it so was not, and we picked up a number of smaller items too - glassware, a lamp, a music box, and a Janis Joplin lunchbox. The store is very cluttered as they're in the process of reopening post-Covid, but they're happy to let customers in whenever they're there (they said every day). The very sweet owners of 26 years, proud great-grandparents, were happy to welcome us inside and to assist with carrying the dresser out to my husband's van, take down and dust off numerous pieces we didn't end up buying, and wrapping our selections carefully. We'll be back.”

“Lots of big and little treasures! Staff are amazing and friendly. Everything from furniture to the tiniest of knick knacks. Been going there since the 1990s, have never been disappointed. One of the more spacious antique stores, so wear your walking shoes!”

“These guys are fabulous! They worked with me on a purchase allowing me to hold the item at the store for almost two months before delivering it. The delivery fee was very reasonable. They required no follow-up, were easy to work with and did exactly what they said they would do.”

“This is a fairly large antique mall in St Louis and it's right next door to another mall. This one has a lot of pretty nice stuff. It has a lot of things that are actually antiques and quite a few nice looking items. I don't know that the prices are especially great but it looked OK for many items. It's worth stopping to check, especially if you are looking for things that are a little nicer than flea market or garage sale items.”

“Stopped by during the cookie crawl on Cherokee street and met the owner. She is such a wonderful person. Picked up a copy of Levine, hard to find. Wonderful collection, will be back to visit the upstairs!”

“Super cool stuff there! I got two iron stars which are everywhere on the brick buildings. It's hard to tell the place is opened because the windows don't show any light inside. Look for the wooden open sign.”
