Man I hate to do reviews that aren’t positive. I’m not a Karen so it’s very uncomfortable and not natural for me to criticize. Short background: I was gifted a very nice wheel which is literally a dream come true. I’m chronically ill and the last few years I’ve been very sick- in and out of the hospital and in bed a lot. I used to pass the hours when I was sick watching people throw pottery, from beginners to some of the best ceramicists online. I had about 4lbs of clay that I got to play with, but needed more. Did my research and decided to drive an hour and 45 mins to go to Krueger. I went in really excited hoping to be met with someone who could share my excitement as a beginner and help me pick out the right clay and tools just to mainly mess around with at home and learn how clay works hands on. He asked me why didn’t I go to the store in Cape Girardeau, which I thought was odd, and made me feel like I wasn’t fully welcome. The man sort of helped me pick a clay but wanted to know how I was going to fire and spoke about cones and things I said I wasn’t really sure about. He gave the vibe that he was slightly irritated. I reluctantly got one of the clays without knowing if it was the best choice. He did a brief tour of where the tools are and that was helpful. He did answer a few simple questions. that were helpful. These things alone I wouldn’t have taken the time to review. THE REASON I AM WRITING THIS IS- he brings out 50lbs of clay in a box. It’s just me and my elderly mother. No offer to help, no carts or assistance that I could see, and this man watched me struggle to pick the box up and I struggled so badly maneuvering my way out with it while trying to get my trunk open. I hurt my back and am out of commission for at least today, I’m afraid of what tomorrow will be like. I have two prosthetic hips and atrophied muscular structure because of my chronic illnesses. Even if I were in good shape, there should be assistance to get something so heavy out the front stairs or long handicap ramp. It should be common courtesy and bare minimum manners to assist your customers when things that heavy are purchased. I would highly suggest employees, especially strong men use better manners and help customers get to the car safely. Thank goodness my hips/legs didn’t buckle under the weight because that could have been really, really bad. I see you have lots of shining reviews and hope this was a one off or something, but please consider helping your customers have a fun and safe experience.

I rarely leave reviews but wanted to this time. I had a great experience with Krueger Pottery ordering online. I called first to get more information and the order process online was very smooth. The product was delivered in less than a week to Atlanta area. I am so excited for my new wheel and to try out new clays. But amazing customer service and experience. You guys definitely gained a loyal customer!

I order glazes online from Krueger and am always pleased with their packing and taping the glaze lids! (And they have the glazes that everyone else is out of stock)

I have been a repeat client of Krueger Pottery Supply since as of a couple years ago, and this is the first time that I have had an issue with my purchase.
The issue involved a kiln part being broken, and having been so expensive, I thought that resolution would be very difficult, or they will require detailed explanation from me.
Since my first interaction with Ryan, I was very surprised in a positive way. Ryan was very kind, understandable and professional. He helped me and went above and beyond.
I’m very pleased that there are companies like Krueger Pottery that offer very good deals, as well as amazing customer service.
