I spoke with Ben today from the store management. He was EXTREMELY helpful and made sure that my concerns were properly dealt with. He helped to find my rebate amount, refunded it to my card (kudos for this btw), and also offered to personally escort me through store when I came back in the future. Also, he noted that he would look into the issues related to the 2 employees mentioned in my review. For the management alone, I highly recommend. Will be back in the future.

My boyfriend and I were having PC troubles so we went to the knowledge bar. Caleb Y was the technician that helped us and he was friendly, helpful, and made the 30 minute trip worth it!

Not going to lie I was pretty apprehensive about dropping off my set up with these guys. Everything went really smooth, took just a tad longer than I expected but they were super busy and got my cooler replaced same day. Jeff Crow was my Tech, everything was done with attention to detail and cable management was 10/10. Will be using them again if I have any other replacements needed. Thanks Jeff!

Highly disappointed in this place after yesterday. 4 hour drive but that wasn't the sole purpose of the drive thankfully. In stock items showing online, which should be 100% accurate since they only sell in store, they couldn't locate either of the items I was after. Since that was the case I didn't even purchase the remaining items on my list that were actually there. May not be a huge deal for most but if you only sell in store then your website inventory should be spot on no questions about it. Now aside from this they have fantastic people on the floor to help you and their customer service is probably unmatched. I would recommend them for your source. I however will not be back and if I do it will only be as a last resort.

Shop here once or twice making sure to give them your email address. Then stop shopping for a month or so. You will start getting emails for free items. It's usually just a memory card or thumb drive, but sometimes they are giving away keyboard mouse combos and more. Great place to fill up on 3d printer filament and supplies, as well as anything PC related you can think of. It's the brick and mortar version of the computer parts store.

Always a great experience. We have built a half dozen custom setups from parts all purchased here. You can’t beat the prices and the free assistance from knowledgeable salespeople is unparalleled. I am not upset having spent easily five figures here this year and will continue to make the hour drive any time I need something. Worth the trip, service is incredible with excellent selection and always very organized.

I enjoyed the customer service and the assortment of electronic items are on par with that of Best Buy. However, if you plan to pay with a check the process is long and arduous. You have to write the check, the cashier then makes a phone call with a wait time of up to a 45 minutes. With all of this your check may be declined. This does not depend on whether or not there is money in your bank account. A store of this caliber can find a faster more efficient way to cash customers out who are paying with a check. Please do better.

Did a great job repairing my busted laptop. They fixed the fan, replaced the keyboard (apparently they don't replace single letters), and reinstalled Windows. It works great now, though there was a short time when they suggested a repair that would leave a large hole in my keyboard--but I think the repair person was just saying, "The quickest repair option is not a good option and here is why." Anyway, the price was right, and though it took several weeks, my laptop is almost like new.

I've been to two other Microcenters including their original location. This one follows through on all the aspects that make this brand great. I wish the staff could calm down with asking to help which is just them wanting to put their commission sticker on everything your holding.

I have generally found the staff to be somewhere on the spectrum of aloof to condescending. The store itself is good. I have generally found what I need apart from a -very- specific PC part (which I can't blame them for not carrying). If you need something broadly technological, their general floor staff will help point you in the correct direction. However, I was at the very least displeased by how dismissive the crew at the "Build-Your-Own-PC" section was when I was looking for said -very- specific part. And it wasn't that they didn't answer my question. They totally did and told me where I could get what I was looking for. It more had to do with how bothered a couple of them seemed that I was asking a question and their assumption that I didn't know what I was talking about. I'm sure they do run into a lot of people who aren't aware of what they're looking for, but for someone who *does*, it's a bit off putting.I refuse to give the store 1 star out of annoyance. It's a store that carries exactly what it's meant to carry. Staff attitude, of course, varies greatly from person to person. My wife and I did have a great experience a few years ago with a gentleman in the laptop sales department. However, based on my most recent experience, I don't think I'll be coming back anytime soon.

The guys at the back desk by the 3D printers are the most useless employees I have ever met. They spend their time talking to each other or playing on those damn computers. They can’t be bothered with a question unless you’re spending tons of money on a printer. Then they turn their main focus into putting their sales rep sticker on your merchandise that they refuse to help you with. Several times now I’ve gone in for parts and all day tell me to do is look online to see if they have it in stock. They refuse to help me look for my part and refuse to walk away from their deep conversation or whatever they’re doing behind the computer. They are the most frustrating group of individuals I have ever met. I will tell everyone I know and everyone on the forums to shop elsewhere. Those guys and the order pick up guys need to take lessons in customer service. Being rude and condescending is not the way to treat customers, regardless of how much money they are spending.

Organized and clean store with any electronics, parts, devices and equipment. Some of their promotions are really good. The associates are helpful and professional.

This is my favorite place to shop in St. Louis. They have the best selection of computers, software, accessories, and gaming supplies in the city. Their prices are always the best and if not they will price match. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. I just learned to day how painless their return policy is. This is my go to place for some of my favorite things.

I signed up for a consultation. Appeared on time, checked in through the text they sent me. After 15 minutes I checked I. Again at the kiosk. After 30minutes and many people going ahead of me, I checked back at the appointment page just to find that I had been marked as a “no-show.” How many different ways does someone have to check in? I was standing In front of the counter for over half an hour with a laptop and charger In hand. Not a one person could ask me who I was or what I may have needed help with?

Tonight (Friday) we could hardly get any assistance. And when we asked for help from someone in the back of the store, they didn't seem interested in assisting. Then the checkout line, oh goodness! It was painfully long with only one register. Had we not needed the equipment, we definitely would've left and came back another time. But, we'll still come back because most of the time, we had better experiences.
