This place has confusing and terrible policies. When it became Palm Beach Tan, I was told I had to buy a monthly membership, no more purchasing of 1 time tans allowed. The monthly membership is expensive, but I do value the convenience of the location so I complied. In 2022 the location closed for renovations. I called the Hampton location and asked to cancel my membership. They said I cannot cancel over the phone, it must be in person. But my location is closed! So I kept my membership, which went unused until they reopened. When they reopened, their policies were ever changing. Some staff will ask you to show your eyewear in order to be allowed to use the membership you paid for. Others will require you to show your eyewear and salon lotion in order to use your membership. Others don't mention it at all. The last time I went in Staff told me that a woman at the Wildwood branch used an unapproved lotion and tried to cheat the system. Her lotion broke the acrylic on the tanning bed and she "fell through". WHAT!?!? Look ladies, if there is an additive in some lotions that causes a tanning bed to crack so severely, that your body falls through and hits the piping hot tanning light bulbs, the whole practice of laying in a tanning bed should be outlawed due to the immediate risk of personal harm (as opposed to the long term risk of personal harm that already exists). Zero Stars. If you want your customers to follow rules, clearly state what the rules are with emails, signage, text message, and staff consistency.Service: Tanning

This location has the rudest assistant manager I have ever dealt with. I go to other locations and never feel as bad as I do when I leave this one.This location will push you to buy lotion or whatever every time you go in- mind you I already have expensive lotion from them and face lotions and everything else.Today Montana again tried to push a lotion sale ( even through yesterday I had said no- I’m all good)I finally had enough and I said “ I need you guys to stop pushing lotion on me every time I come into tan- no other location does this to me every time I come in” she immediately copped an attitude and said “ you can go to other locations and went off on a rant.As I sat in the tanning bed I’m getting more upset for you me that an employee thought it was appropriate to say that to a guest etc - so as I come out I ask to speak with her again and say “ are you always this rude to people? “ she said your rude every time you come in- this is not true- I’m sick or being pushed to buy products EVERY SINGLE TIME I COME IN - she literally always looks annoyed and bothered every time I come in. I did say something I regretted as I was leaving but I was furious- never in my life have I had an employee at a business talk to me like this.I have called the corporate office and plan on only using this location when I have to.If I was the owner of this place I would be mortified- not only will I never buy lotion at this location($200) it’s strongly making me want to cancel my membership- every other Palm beach tan i use has the nicest employees so not sure what to do yetService: Tanning

I've always had great experiences here. The employees are so nice and considerate, and always seem happy to provide insight and direction.

From my past experience at many other tanning salons, this specific location has one of the best customer service groups ever. They really know how to talk to people and are very kind hearted and understanding of their customers. I will be coming here a lot more. You have now became a favorite in my heart.Services: Tanning

Jessica the manager sold my wife a $70 gift card to use their nicest bed for a Valentine’s Day gift. When we got there they said I could only go for 5 minutes but it will cost the entire $70 as they cannot add the remaining amount as credit. She was super deceiving when selling to my wife and lied about it when the person running the desk called her. We were also told that they have a “quota” on selling gift cards or they get in trouble. Fine, first world problems. My wife used my gift card and I grabbed a tan for 6 minutes and the bed turned off two times in the six minutes. Terrible experience which the manager was aware of but had no interest. Three other customers had issues while we were there and the lovely girl working had no power to correct. Terrible customer service outrageously high prices not to mention they have membership fees and you can literally only tan once in a 24 hour period so if you can at 1 PM you cannot tan the next day until 1 PMService: Tanning
