DO NOT USE THE ONLINE BOOKING IF NEEDING TO RENT A VEHICLE!!I was speaking to the rental agent on the phone, making a reservation for a cargo van.She told me to hurry up because a man was there wanting it too,but she knew I was in the middle of typing my info in. We payed, got a confirmation, and she says no I'm giving it to this man here! Whattt?? I just paid for it and have it confirmed. She hung up on me,I called back,no answer, called and got a manager. She told me the stores policy is "First come first serve IN PERSON"Even with a confirmation and payment,my reservation got cancelled, and get this TAKES 3-5 DAYS FOR REFUND....This is a TERRIBLE policy, makes no sense as to why they even have online booking if it's not going to be honored!!!! And they're taking your money! It's very sketchy to me,hear that Home Depot,SKETCHY.This cause such a mess for me in budgeting my trip because they took my money. And the associate at the store that I was on the phone with should be reprimanded for advising me to book online in the first place. As most normal critical thinking people I assumed this held the van.She knew it would not as she had a customer there in person trying to rent it,she knew it would cancel out my reservation,so why did she tell me to " hurry up" and book it,? Shitty policy, shitty workers, shitty customer service.

After ordering a stove and waiting a week for delivery, the stove arrived; however, due to the delivery man not bringing a pipe wrench they just left the stove and said they needed to reschedule for another week out to install it. When I attempted to confirm my reschedule by calling the Home Depot store on Hanley (where I bought it), I could never get anyone in appliances to answer, it just continually went back to the front desk. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!

I purchased an electric range from Home Depot and requested that my old broken one to be picked up. Upon delivery, the guys told me that the pick up was not on the work order. OK. A simple oversight. Because I distinctly remember asking for the old one to be picked up. I called the store manager who told me that the sales person distinctly remembers that I said I would take care of it, and just put the old broken one on the curb. which is something I would never say because that would make it my problem. In the end, the manager told me that they couldn't help me it was out of their hands because it wasn't on the work order. Not very good customer service essentially calling me a liar.

This is the worst installation and customer service experience I have ever had. Our dishwasher was delivered on a Wednesday and the deliverers told us a plumber would have to contact us to install it the the next day. We were never contacted so we had to call again. We were told it would be set up Friday. It was not set up Friday - we were then told the plumber was sick and bc we live in the city there is not other plumber available until the following Monday. So we are supposed to wait 5 days with a dishwasher sitting in the middle of our very small kitchen space? It gets worse. On Saturday, we were contacted and told it would not be until the following Thursday before a plumber would be able to install the dishwasher. So now it will be just over a week with a dishwasher sitting here which is completely unprofessional and ridiculous. My husband and I have to take turns taking days off work to sit around all day waiting for a delivery or plumber to arrive and then find out they are not showing. I don't know if Home Depot knows this, but most people do not have the luxury of taking days off work to wait around for deliveries and plumbers just to be rescheduled again and again. I am warning anyone looking to buy an appliance to please read the horrible reviews on Home Depot installations because I wish I would have. I do not recommend buying an appliance from Home Depot and I will stick to Lowe's where I have never had any problems. I have decided that I would rather pay for a delivery and installation fee than be stuck with "free installation" which apparently can take weeks based on other reviews I am currently reading. I'm about ready to send this dishwasher back if at all possible. I'm posting here because the Home Depot site isn't letting me post on their site because of "technical issues".

This is the best Home Depot I've ever bought from. Not only did they have an awesome deal on something I needed. They brought out the forklift to pull it down from the top shelf. A++

This is your typical Home Depot nothing special. I give it two stars only because of a Lowes down the street on Hanley, that I can make an easy comparison to. Whereas the Home Depot never has enough staff to handle the rush of shoppers, and those you do find are often grumpy and not very helpful (I hesitate mentioning staff attitude as dealing with the public is generally unpleasant and I'm sure they're not paid especially well), the Lowes down the street has plenty of folks on shift to help, and you don't have to chase them down or feel like your bothering them.

With the only objective to purchase a moving box I expected that would be in and out. Not quite so fast. Moving boxes located on aisle 10, however what I needed would require a lift to get off the top shelf. After trying to get a few staff to help finally! Took over 30 minutes in all. Easy self checkout. 2.5 rounding down. Will try another one next time.

My boyfriend and I shopped freezers online to figure out what we wanted. We found the item available at two nearby Home Depot and chose the Hanley location. We walked straight to the appliances and found a man who was in the section but said he didn't work in appliances and proceeded to search for a supposed woman working there. He found a man in all black (no HD vest) who apparently worked at HD and merely paged for help. We and another set of customers waited about five to seven minutes. The other group asked if we'd been approached and we said no and they likewise and said they were going elsewhere. I found an older man coming out of the break room into the freezer aisle and as I started to walk towards him he grabbed a cart of signage and broke eye contact and rapidly turned around and practically ran away. While I was walking around the appliance section looking for an employee, I saw two, a girl and boy talking to each other. I asked if she could help us; she opened a display fridge grabbing a bottle of water while saying she didn't work in appliances and continued to walk away with her pal. I finally found one employee and he kindly called an employee. After another five minutes of waiting for "Peter" to help us, we finally were approached by a shaggy haired kid who mumbled under his breath something. We had to get closer to him and ask him to repeat himself several times to which we finally heard him ask if we were doing okay. We told him, "no we are looking for someone to help us with the freezers." He said he was the one Jim called and would help us, unfortunately he was customer service and didn't know anything about the freezers and couldn't get us pricing information on the one we found in the middle of the aisle that looked like the one we wanted to buy. After him struggling several times to figure out what to do, I ended up asking for the store manager to intervene. The store manager told us the one employee who was scheduled for that department called in sick and so there was no one to help us. I asked why he couldn't help us and relayed that by this time we had been there nearly half an hour and the multiple employees who didn't want to help us. His name was John and he was less than helpful. After nearly an hour in Home Depot we finally had a freezer loaded onto a flat cart and headed to checkout. The check out girl was cheerful and greeted us kindly, but the barcode wouldn't scan. An hour later and we finally had the freezer paid for. A trip that should have taken 10 minutes in the store, took an hour because this store was so poorly managed. It took us less time to unload and set up the freezer than it did for buying it. Next time, I'm NOT going to Home Depot.

One of the worst businesses I've ever been to. This Home Depot location is terribly managed and the customer service staff is completely unprofessional. I do believe I have a better understanding of what hell is like after my experience here. Keyan is the only person keeping this place afloat.

I have had numerous issues with Home Depot - beginning with a purchase of a Maytag Dishwasher late fall in 2021 & now with the purchase of a GE Laundry unit - purchased in January, 2022. A quick summary of the Dishwasher- · Purchased from The Home Depot, located at 1603 S. Hanley Road, Brentwood, MO 63144 · Delivery and installation were scheduled for 2 weeks later · Dishwasher was delivered but they said there was a plumbing issue & would not install. Said I needed to call a plumber & reschedule installation. They insisted on leaving it in my condo & left it in the box. Called plumber & called to reschedule installation & new date was 2 weeks out. Purchased a GE Laundry Unit from the same Home Depot in Brentwood, in 2/2022. No questions were asked about the place to be installed & no instructions were given. · Delivery & installation scheduled for Wednesday, 2/9. · Two installers arrived - one had ear pods in & when I tried to speak to him all I got was "huh?. They said the doors needed to be removed & I would have to reschedule. I asked them to put the unit back on the truck as I had limited space & they said that if they did that, then the store could resell it. Insisted on leaving it in my condo & this time due to size, was placed in between my countertop & my pantry - blocking the path. · Had doors removed and called to reschedule - told first available was 2/22, & they could not guarantee a delivery window. My daughter had a 1:00 dentist appoint so I asked if I could request a morning install. Was told that was not possible - asked if I could be put on a wait list for an earlier installation & she said yes. She then said that I could have someone else install & that Home Depot would refund the installation & haul away cost. I asked about the additional parts - semi-rigid dryer duct & upgraded stainless washer hoses & asked if those were in the laundry unit. She said that they were probably in the washer. (The washer & dryer were still in the box. · Called the 3rd party installation co. in Atlanta to check on the wait list and she laughed and said - Oh, honey, we don't have a wait list - whoever told you that was wrong. I asked if she could confirm the 2/22 install & she said it was not on the schedule. She scheduled for 2/24. · At this point, I was so frustrated, that I called the Home Depot on Hanley & asked to speak w/the manager, Narobi. I went thru the whole scenario & said I would just like to cancel this order & have this picked up as soon as possible. She told me in no uncertain terms that they did not take returns & that the only return they ever take is if it is damaged. We went round & round but she was adamant, & expressed no apology or compassion for this entire situation. · Called an appl. installation service. they came out on 2/18 - unpacked the unit, & found that the front panel was scratched. In addition, none of the additional parts were in the washer. So, to install would be a total of $359.00 since the addit. parts were not there . Since it was damaged he said that they should take it back. His experience was that HD did take returns for damage within 30 days. Due to the missing parts & the damage, I called Narobi back to tell her it was damaged & I would like to return it. Now, she told me that damage has to be reported within 48 hours. Since the unit was not unboxed & since the delivery people insisted on leaving it there in the box there is no way that I could have known it was damaged. · Called Corporate & spoke w/Dorothy. She was very apologetic & after· She was very apologetic & after being on hold she said that she had worked it out w/GE that they would in fact take it back. This was scheduled for March 2. · Had the doors reinstalled at a cost of $70.00 and then on March 2, they showed up - not to pick up but to install. This has been the most frustrating experience. Apparently, there is no communication between the store employees, (the employe

Have been going to the Hanley store for years but was really disappointed on my last visit. I was buying a couple of flowers and 3 different types of pavers. When I reached the checkout the cashier told me that she couldn't look up the SKU code to charge and that I would have to go back to the paver section and take pictures of the SKU stickers. So I did it. Back at the register I was told that the price on one of the SKU wasn't valid and would be a $3.28 vs $2.28 and the SKU on the shelf was no longer valid. I said that your kidding and was told there is nothing that can be done. So I did the only thing I could do. I left and bought the supplies at a competitor. Very sad.

On July 3 I stopped in Home Depot in Richmond Heights and I got VERY LUCKY. I found an employee WHO WANTED TO WORK TO MAKE MONEY. She, YES SHE, was FABULOUS. She, a lovely young blonde lady "held my hand" to find EVERYTHING I had on my list. I wish all employees cared about how to make money and to actually possibly own their own company one day. She knew the STORE INSIDE AND OUT and EVEN GOT A LADDER OUT TO GET SOMETHING FOR ME THAT COULDN'T BE REACHED. She was WONDERFUL! I was fooled into thinking ALL OF THE EMPLOYEES AT THIS STORE WORKED AS HARD AS SHE DID. July 4 was a whole different matter. I needed something and a chubby bearded red haired guy was sitting at the computer in the carpet department doing who knows what. He didn't offer any help until I walked past him twice. When I asked him for assistance he spoke to me in a VERY CONDESCENDING manner. Staring DOWN at me with just his eyes while he had his chin up saying things like, "I don't know what you are talking about", "The back isn't made of that", offering no additional help. He just looked at me as if I was stupid because I was asking for help and basically bothering him. He didn't offer ANY help at all, in fact he talked his way out of working by telling me I didn't need anything. Upon my leaving he approached a WORKING employee to ask when he was leaving to go home! I will go to Lowe's or Menard's should I need anything and I will be returning all the of supplies that I purchased on the 4th because according to the chubby bearded red headed employee I didn't need the supplies. I'm not sure if he knew how to complete my project. I suspect he was bluffing, plus it was too much of a bother to ask HIM FOR HELP WHILE HE WAS SITTING ON HIS BUTT LOOKING AT A COMPUTER RATHER THAN HELPING CUSTOMERS. One bad apple DOES spoil the whole bunch. What a difference one hard working employee, who is interested in helping customers, makes verses a one who would rather sit and look at a computer, has no interest in his job whatsoever and is more interested in asking a fellow employee when he is going home. Sad. He's a liability to the company due to pure laziness and if the store closes because of him, the hardworking lady will too lose her job. Okay, so went back on 09/02/2021, SAME LAZY EMPLOYEE ATTITUDE. STOOD THERE POINTED TO LIGHTBULBS, "MA'AM THERE THEY ARE." Of course, I saw them, I NEEDED SOMETHING SPECIFIC, DUMMY! THAT'S WHY I NEEDED YOU! ISN'T THAT WHY YOU WERE CALLED TO HELP, NOT TO POINT AND SAY WHERE THE LIGHT BULBS WERE? I CAN SEE WHERE THE LIGHT BULBS ARE, STUPID! I HATE THE ATTITUDE OF THE EMPLOYEES! STUPID, STUPID, STUPID!!! THEY NEED TO TAKE CLASSED IN CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! THEY HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO CLUE!!!! I WILL GO TO LOWES OR MENARDS FROM NOW ON NEVER Home Depot EVER AGAIN!!!!! NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. IT'S A WASTE OF TIME, ENERGY AND BOAT LOADS OF MONEY!! OR I'LL SPEND MY MONEY ONLINE!!!! NO THANK YOU!!!!
