Edited to respond to the Company's reply. Their reply was predictable, ridiculous, and a lie. The tip conversation happened at the VERY beginning of the move and I can prove it. I have a call log with a time stamp that shows what the time movers repeatedly called me, and a timestamped receipt of the tip I sent through cashapp. I didn't give a generous tip because I was happy with the service. I gave a generous tip because my elderly uncle was nervous if we didn't give them what they were asking for there would be consequences to pay. I can prove all of this. The movers also left me a voicemail about the tip that I have a timestamp on. Also, they are lying when they say they take this complaint seriously. The General Manager who I spoke to on the phone was combative, and dismissive. He said he would send this to his claims department and they would reach out to me. That never happened.
The main reason I am leaving this review is to warn customers about Arch Movers. It looks like a lot of their moves go well. But if it doesn't, management is combative and blames it on the customer. You can see that by reading the response to their 1 star reviews. I scheduled a move for my elderly uncle (small one bedroom house with limited furniture). I could not be present to help, but I stayed in touch with my uncle on the phone. I asked my uncle to tell the movers I would tip on my credit card when I settled the bill. The movers said this was unacceptable. They want cash. They asked him if I could go meet them somewhere with cash. He told them no. They asked him to go to the ATM. He said no. They implied the move would not get going until this tip issue was settled. They asked if I could send money over cashapp or apple pay. I told them I would do this as it seemed like my uncle was getting nervous things were not moving along. They gave me the name of a friend on cashapp as both movers claimed they did not have cashapp, venmo, apple pay, etc., even though it was they who asked for app payment. I sent the tip. Next they got my phone number from my uncle. They called me and told me the payment didnt go through. They said they could give me another name on cashapp and demanded I resend it (the payment did go through). I said no. They called me an additional 5 times to harass me about the tip. When I called the Manager to complain, his response was silly. He said it is two sweet boys who are just a little bit excited about the thought of a tip. This is a scam. If movers want cash tips and ask to send the tip over an app payment, why don't them themselves have any app accounts? Because its a scam. My total bill, excluding that ridiculous tip I sent was $771.99. That is insanely expensive for a small move and absolutely terrible service.

The movers were polite, got right to work. They did a wonderful job breaking down the furniture and putting it back up. The cost was reasonable. The day turned rainy, but all the belongings were treated with care and nothing got ruined by the rain. Highly recommend them.

Used them for the first time and had an awful experience. They backed their moving truck into the lawn causing damage to property that was not mine. I thought it was a fluke due to so many good reviews and I was in a pinch next time I needed to move so I gave them a second chance and had an even worse experience. Multiple pieces of furniture were damaged and I had to make them finish getting my stuff off the truck because they were getting ready to close up when I could still see some of my stuff in the back. They didn’t even finish setting up the furniture that they took apart to move. Then they still had the audacity to ask for 5 stars because it’ll get them raises and they have kids to take care of. Awful experiences all around. Do NOT use this company!

Mason,Mike & Mike did a fantastic job for us. Very fast crew . It had only been 54 minutes,and they had half the 3bedroom 2 bathroom house loaded into the truck . Super clean the way they load ,know what they’re doing ! They really took care of me in just under 4 hours ,& I hope they feel I took care of them just as much . Very impressed,& will be using again for the next house move . First time I ever used movers ,& I walked away thinking why have I been doing it all along on my own with a uhaul. Awesome service thx guys ! I was planning on this costing about $2000. With tip I paid Just under $1300 thx to their hard work & speed .
