Christina at the Cape Girardeau store greeted us as we came in. She asked if we needed help. We let her know what we were looking for. She let us browse and checked on us to see if we had questions. She was very helpful and didn’t push any sales on us. It was a great experience. It didn’t take us long to figure out what we wanted to buy. Christina was very thorough and made sure we understood everything.

Dera helped me buy my first couch. It was the perfect small sectional for me. She greeted me immediately and I was NOT having a good day. She was helpful the entire time. I came back a couple days later to do paperwork and she didn’t hold it against me and we even shared some laughs from that point on. She made my first furniture purchase a smooth and easy experience. I definitely will shop Ashley again. Give that girl a raise !

Christine was amazing in helping us find the perfect couch. She was patient and went out of her way to make my request happen. I wanted a swatch of the couch we were getting they they had in the warehouse and not of the floor and not only did she make that happen but brought out an entire section for us to sit on.

We had a great experience at the Simple Home+ store in Cape Girardeau Missouri. Our salesperson was Christina was very helpful but not pushy. She gave us the info we needed and stepped away and let us decide on what we wanted. Our visit was a great one! We are so happy with our purchase experience!!!

I’m very impressed with Simple Home Plus. My husband & I went in last week to finance a couch and love seat. But after seeing such reasonable prices, we ended up getting a couch, love seat, large area rug, & a coffee table / end table set ! KEVIN DAVAULT was our sales representative, he was so helpful! He was very knowledgeable about everything in store, professional & kind.! I’ll definitely be on the look out for his kind face when we return!

My son and his girlfriend ordered furniture months ago, and the delivery date has been pushed back at least three times. They requested to cancel and were told they could not cancel without paying a 20% cancellation fee, even though their current estimate for delivery is still weeks away and is literally months later than they were originally told. I recognize that delivery dates may not be guaranteed, but this many delays without an option to cancel is ridiculous. I visited the store to get some clarity on their policies, and was told that there was nothing they could do and that every furniture store has this same policy. I actually visited one other furniture store on my way home and confirmed that is not in fact the case--they allow cancellation and returns with no fee, especially in cases where delivery is significantly delayed. I was also told by Simple Home Plus staff that there was no general manager for the store and no way to contact anyone with any authority beyond the sales associates present at the store at that time, which strikes me as odd. The people who were working at this store were nice enough, and the furniture is nice enough. But before you buy here, please be aware that you may have to wait indefinitely for your order and then be told that there is nothing that can be done, no matter how many delays there are. You are simply at their mercy as soon as you place an order. I will be assisting my son and his girlfriend in filing complaints with the Better Business Bureau and the Attorney General's comsumer complaints division because this just does not seem like fair business practice.

Great experience, Jason was very knowledgable and when we ask him a question he didn’t know he had someone to help. Being there for only a short time he was tremendous help. Jason got us all info we were looking for, so we didn’t even make it out if mall parking lot and decided to come back and buy it. I thought we would at least go home and discuss it but Jason pretty much sold us on the spot.

We spent over $7,000 on living room furniture. For 2 recliners and a couch. They told us it would be 2-6 weeks. We got the two recliners after almost 9 weeks. Was told the couch would be sometime in September. None of it had even been built yet when we ordered on 4/25/23. We didn't know that until much later. We told them when they let us know that the recliners were in that we wanted it all together so that it all came at the same time and we knew that it would all match. Well they got nasty with us and told us if we didn't get it delivered within 30 days that they would charge us a storage fee each month. And after the second month they would restock it and charge us a 25% restocking fee. We tried to return it all or refuse it once it was well past 6 weeks and they were going to charge us a 25% restocking fee. My husband said "what are you restocking? It hasn't even been built yet!" So we were forced to keep it or be charged ridiculous fees. I would not recommend this place whatsoever. Don't believe anything they say. Only shop at furniture stores that have stock on hand. This place is a joke.

Very pleasant experience. I went in one day looking for a new kitchen set. Unfortunately, my daughter wasn’t the best shopping buddy for the day. I went in a week later to purchase one that I loved. Dera remembered me and the table I wanted. She made the checkout experience easy and quick. I cannot wait to get my beautiful set.

Dera and Christina were absolutely fantastic!!!! They went way above and beyond for us. Their genuine eagerness to help us is what has not only earned our loyalty as a repeat customer but it also kept us from having a meltdown while we were furnishing our entire home. THE STORE WAS RIDICULOUSLY HOT AND MADE THE BUYING EXPERIENCE MISERABLE (or would have without the afore mentioned saleswomen! Love them! They saved this company’s word of mouth reputation with their excellent sales skills. I am appalled. That this company provides such a poor work environment! Shameful!
