The older lady on the phone needs customer training. Was super rude on phone. I felt like you are supposed to buy their boots to get their service to resole my boots

My friend and I went into the store to send in a pair of boots to have re-soled and purchase a new pair of redwing boots. He has been going there for the past 10 years with no issues until this visit. There was a new person that couldn't answer one question, as it appeared he went from a size D to EE per the card on file. All he needed to know was if there was a size E, as he was confused as to why he would skip a full size, but this lady couldn't answer that question, she didn't want to take the time to listen to what he was trying to say and kept interrupting which can be very frustrating for the customer when you simply want them to listen and understand what you are trying to relay. He asked if the gal that has been working there available, she said she is no longer there. He again tried to find out if he could get an answer if there is a size between the D and EE. She could not answer that question, he stated in a polite manner she is stressing him out and she replied "sir, you are stressing me out and I want you to leave now". I myself currently working in medical field and customer service in the past know that is not how you handle a customer, especially one that has been a loyal customer for 10 years. The next day I called to speak to management and it appears she was informed incorrectly. She was told there were three customers in the store stating my friend was rude. Well, yes, there were three, myself, my friend and one other. This store is small so not difficult to see how many are there. There was an employee in the back. To top it off, the manager actually allows the employee that was unprofessional to get on the phone an start arguing with me. I explained this is exactly what happened yesterday, she is not wanting to listen and help alleviate the issue but rather cause the issue. I stated I will be contacting the general/district manager and both started laughingly. This place is run by very unprofessional people. No professional manager would ever hand over the phone to an employee and allow them to talk to a customer the way I was talked to today.

Great place just started dropping in .bought two items I was needing .pair of boots and found a couple other items. Real neat place very clean and professional.

Husband bought a great pair of cowboy boots. Tried them on and they look great on him. Service was very polite and helpful. Prices are very reasonable.

The sales reps were very friendly but wasn't over attentive. They have the best selection of boots for all ages. You get a great pair of boots although the prices are steep but for a good boot you have to pay that. So awesome experience at Bob's.

The woman at the counter was very busy running the business, but made time to answer my questions. I came in to buy some hiking boots, and let them know I was interested in a $350 pair based on their looks. I was directed towards a more appropriate line of boots ranging from $120-$170, and found the perfect one for my needs.It was definitely a nice experience to be pointed towards the boot I needed rather than the boot I could afford.

Poor selection of boots and way over priced and I don't need to be told to wear a mask a specially if I'm the only person in the store.

Horrible customer service, dropped boots off 5 weeks ago and was told they would be ready in 2. Call to check on them after over a month and find out they haven't started fixing them and decided they couldn't. Where was the phone call saying that to me? If I didn't call in would they have just kept my 200+ boots? Very disappointed with how the situation went down and over a month later still don't have fixed shoes.
