Absolutely terrible service department. Don't ever make the mistake of taking your car here. I will never buy another car from this place again. They will lie to you and charge you for their own mistakes. They charged me $1,300 for something they told me would cost $150. The worst part is that the car only broke after their incompetence at the service department. I am not the type of person to leave poor reviews at places, but this has thrown me over the edge.

Cape Honda was my first choice for buying a new car because they had the model with all the safety features I wanted. And, they were closer to me than St Louis. From contact on line about what I was looking for to actually setting down with the financial person to driving the 2024 Honda HR-V home was one of the smoothest car transactions I’ve ever had !

They were very accommodating when I needed emergency work on my vehicle. The staff and technicians were friendly and efficient. They got my Mother and I on our way to the airport with plenty of time to spare!

I have been trying to get into contact with Cape Honda for two weeks now about a complaint I have with their service department. I have no issues with my car needed to be repaired. However, I do have issues with the poor communication from the service department that lead me to be without a vehicle for three weeks. I was also made late to work the first time because I had to wait 2 hours for them to tell me there was nothing wrong with my car when it was NOT drivable. A week later I was made late to work again because they failed to tell me that my battery was on its way out. Apparently they didn’t notice the condition of the outside of the battery when they did an internal test (twice in ten days). Yet they can tell me I need filters changed? I was offered a 20% discount on recommended services which I was not given. They gave me a 15% discount after I complained. I waited almost four hours for an update on my vehicle and had to call myself. I called and they told me it was done when it was on a lift with no tires and no work done to it. I was lied to when they told me they had ordered a tire for me when they had not. This started in the beginning of August and it’s now late October. Mr. Chris Brown I’d like to speak with you if you see this. Three free oil changes worth $222 that Rusty offered me after I spent almost $1000 with your company is not enough to compensate for the WEEKS of trouble your company has given me. Rob is the only employee in the service department who took me seriously. Starting to feel like I’m being discriminated against for being a young woman. I’m not ignorant like you’ve been treating me. Loved buying my vehicle from Bud. BUT DONT GET YOUR VEHICLE SERVICED HERE.

I had a bit of a crisis, scary lights came on but the job I works makes getting it to a shop very difficult. Thankfully, I was able to squeeze into a last minute appointment slot, now the only issue was getting the car back as I would definitely be working past close for the rest of the week. Not only were they able to accommodate me paying over the phone but they left the car outside unlocked and with the keys safety inside. Crisis adverted!! Thankful for how well they were able to help me despite my challenging work schedule

Made appointment in two days at 0900, people in service were excellent in taking care of me when I arrived. Oil change tire rotation and checkup all done with car wash and out the door in 45 minutes. Thanks

Good service department. They changed the oil rotated the tires and also performed the auto butler çar detail. 22 point inspection pluse tires rotated and gave me a coffee and a snack while waiting. The service department went over some things that needed done like air filter and cabin filter are dirty and the transmission fluid is due fora flush and change. I have 80,000 miles on it now. No pressure to get this done. Just a great service department everyone should go to Honda in Cape

I visited several lots while looking for my kids’ first vehicles. We were very pleased with Cape Girardeau Honda and our salesperson, Lukas Keip! He listened to everything on our list and did a great job matching my son up with the right car-and even got it under our budget. Lukas went above and beyond his job duties to make the experience a fantastic one. Cape Girardeau Honda will be the first place I go for future car shopping.

I always feel like I am pressured to have services done that aren’t really needed. I have been disappointed in them before when I paid for a tire rotation which wasn’t done. Luckily for me I caught it and called them on it. Of course they played it off like it was a mistake . No apology or acknowledgment. They did do the rotation though after I pointed it out.

Terrible experience, Called and planned a week in advance for a particular vehicle, Explained we were driving 8hrs to come drive and purchase cash. Car was going to be cleaned and ready for arrival 9:30am for us...arrived was told not clean and they just found out battery was dead that morning...5 hrs later car ready for test drive...still needing some cleaning. Vehicle was worth the drive but the dealership needs to improve on their promises to deliver.

I recently found myself unexpectedly in the market for a new midsize SUV. I visited multiple dealerships and test drove many vehicles. While I didn't end up purchasing a vehicle from Cape Girardeau Honda because I didn't have time to wait to build/order a vehicle to include the features I needed, the experience working with this dealership was by far the best in my whole car buying adventure! This dealership is clearly committed to building positive relationships with potential customers and I highly recommend working with John if you're in the market for a new Honda.

Amazing customer service. The service department went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of. Got my truck with major issues taken care of with the warranty and got it back in less than 2 weeks. Very pleased.

Sales associate, Bud, was great. However trying to complete a lease was a nightmare. Two hours wait at dealership then having to redo lease documents twice more by FedEx because finance department couldn't get things right. Would have second thoughts about going back to Cape Honda.

I use this Honda Dealership for service on my 2019 CRV. They are efficient. They provide a good explanation of what will be done and their employees are polite and helpful.

I was on my way to St. Louis and car had an issue on the highway (turned out the skid plate came loose). I had the car towed to Cape Girardeau Honda. Knowing that I was from out of town, Gabe prioritized my issue, even though they were very close to their closing time, figured out the issue was the loose plate and got it fixed. On asking how much, he said all they did was to quickly assess what was making that noise and took off the plate. He did not charge me.We often have bad experiences and post about them. This is to show there are awesome people and businesses too.
