Horrible company practices. They hide extra charges that are not stated on the website. This was my first time trying to rent a car and the representative had horrible customer service skills. I will never rent from them.

Noah was a huge help when renting our car in Cape Girardeau, MO. My car was in the shop for a week and Incouldnt have been more happy with the vehicle he picked for us. It was clean, had all the safety features you could want and drove like a dream.Thanks for the great friendly service.

I made an appointment for pick up 2 month ago, I dropped my car to the body shop at 8:00 on 12/11/23 morning. It should have someone to pick me up at this time. However, there was nobody there. I called them, they said they didn't have a car to pick me up and I asked them how long they could come to pick me up. They said they don't know because they need to wait for customers to return the car. After 30min I called them again, they still don't know when. It was so cold outside and I waited for them outside like an idiot. After 4h, I still don't have any phone call from them, I am still waiting. I asked them if I could uber to get a rental car,they said no bc they dont have a car. It likes a joke the rental car company dont have a car can rental?????I felt so bad about it, I don't even know if I could get the rental car today, I have my life and I cannot wait for the phone call forever. No one called me at the beginning and told me they cannot pick me up. Who can pay for my time that I waste for today? Who can take the responsibility for the organization? Why does no one call me when they know they cannot pick up me? Please I really need some explanation and compensation for today's encounter.I called them at least 8 times to figure out the problem, but nothing happened. It is 12:00pm right now, I am still waiting for a phone call to pick me up and rent a car. PLZ PLZ PLZ

I really appreciate our local Enterprise branch here in Cape Girardeau!! They have a Great Staff that do their very best to help you. Spencer and Noah go above and beyond!!As we all know automobile’s are short and in high demand. These guys did everything possible to find a vehicle for my needs. I really appreciate you guys!! Me and the wife have been using them for a few years now, and have had no issues! This last visit we had a low tire issue, and they refunded the vehicle and upgraded us, first issue we ever had was handled promptly! We will use them for life if this is how they continue to run their company. Very satisfied.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. I was in a wreck and the person’s at faults insurance company scheduled my rental car through the is company. They called and confirmed the pick up day with me, told me I could come at opening (7:30am) and I would have my pick of any vehicle. The day of pick up, I had just dropped my truck off at the collision center and was headed to the rental center when I get a call at 7:20, 10 minutes till they open saying they wouldn’t have a vehicle ready for me at open, it’s in the shop getting an oil change and promised one would be ready for me before noon when my husband went to work. Mind you I’m 39 weeks pregnant, they were made aware there is no way I could go without a vehicle. I show up at 11 to get vehicle which they then turn around and tell me “the customer that has the vehicle your booked for hasn’t returned it yet, was supposed to yesterday and should show up today but might not” so the oil change was a blatant lie. There was no vehicle being prepared for my pick up. I’m stranded at my husbands work with no vehicle and could go into to labor at anytime and am still awaiting a call hoping I get a vehicle as promised. I called all day multiple times as did the insurance company to shotty communication, they ducked so many calls. Only 45 minutes before they closed after I called 6 times back to back trying to reach someone did they nonchalantly tell me that my vehicle is ready and can be picked up. I guarantee if I wouldn’t have called, I wouldn’t have heard back from them. Meanwhile, I am still stranded at my husband‘s work. They were able to find someone to drop it off with me at my husbands work at 15 till 5. I sat on an uncomfortable bench at 39 weeks pregnant stranded with no vehicle for 9 plus hours waiting for them to get me the rental they promised me at 7:30 am that morning. Mind you I got no apology or anything when they finally dropped the car off to me. Acted like it was no fault of theirs and did not take into consideration of my situation. This company is not professional, not organized and should not be trusted.Owen was nice considering the circumstances but still very unhappy with the service his employers provided!

I've stopped using Enterprise unless absolutely necessary. I travel extensively due to my job and 3 out last 4 times I have rented from them. I have had an issue with their service. No matter how far out I've booked in advance I get a call that my vehicle is not available for pickup that morning & I'll have to wait until another arrives. This has caused me to be late for very important meetings & events, or miss them altogether. The last straw was when I was told that my car would be available that afternoon ( I booked it for 8:00am) and I received no callback until I called them at 2:00pm. I was again told that they were waiting for another vehicle to come in. Instead of waiting I decided to go to the Enterprise around 3:00 and I arrived just in time to witness them renting the same vehicle type to another customer who said himself he had just walked in and "got lucky they had something available". When I inquired why that gentleman was able to rent the vehicle that I had reserved I received no answers. They attempted to tell me that he'd placed his rental before mine even though they heard him just tell me he had just walked in. Following that, I was told they were not expecting anymore rentals to come in that day. NO one at the store took any accountability for providing me false information, the inconvenience that they had caused me and no one offered to make it right. The most frustrating part of the encounter was that the associates there acted like they didn't care and were more concerned about getting ready to close and I was repeatedly told that this was my fault. I'll also note that during the 1 and a half hours I was there a few cars were returned and for each one there was an excuse as to why it could not be rented. Throughout this encounter I was respectful, but very frustrated and it wasn't until I made it known that I would contact their District Manager that I was given a much smaller vehicle they didn't offer any discount or apology. I'm 6'2 and 250 lbs I initially rented a truck and I settled for a Nissan Kick only because I was hours late getting to my destination. It was an uncomfortable 5 hour drive to my destination. That said, even after that experience I booked a rental again, almost two weeks in advance, only to get the same phone call the morning of my departure that they had no vehicles available. I then cancelled my reservation and tried a local car rental place and have not been back since. I was understanding of the situation the first two times but 4 or 5 times is a pattern. I've spent a substantial amount of money on rentals this year and If I can help it I won't be giving enterprise anymore of my business.

My experience with Enterprise has always been excellent. Everything is straightforward and simple. The staff has always been efficient and professional. Michael did a good job on my last rental. I had Destiny my previous rentals and she did good as well. Thank you.

I can't understand the good reviews. My experience with Enterprise in Cape Girardeau has been terrible. I just got a vehicle today after waiting 8 days for a rental after my car was involved in a wreck. I was told I was first on the list all last week! Never heard from them. I always had to call them! I was told yesterday that I would get an SUV. False. They brought me this huge, truck to the place that was going to work on it. I'm 70 years old and they expect me to climb up and down out of this huge truck! They only had vans available so I had to take a van. I've never driven a van before. I was a nervous wreck. They said they had SUVS Thismorning but we're already taken! Why didn't they call me or why didn't they keep one for me. The guy. Set the appt for 3 pm! Then he doesn't hold the SUV for me! Now they said they would let me know when an SUV is ready. I don't believe them. I have been lied to so many times by them!

My experience with renting a car from Enterprise from beginning to end has been great. On my last rental that ended on 08/08/2023 I was checked out by Jennifer and checked back in by Jennifer. I was very impressed with her professionalism. She gave me all of the information I needed to make this a smooth transaction. She was quick and efficient in everything. There was no wait time in the entire process. It will be an honor to have her as my agent again.Perry

My car was being repaired and the insurance set up a rental at Cape Girardeau Enterprise, from the initial contact with the staff to the conclusion of rental the staff at Enterprise were great and I will definitely use them again. I will also recommend anyone in the area looking for a great rental to give the staff at Cape Girardeau Enterprise a call!!

Let me start by saying the people at the Cape Girardeau Kingshighway location are great! They were very professional and awesome to work with.The only reason I did not give the fifth star is because the vehicle i was put in was horrible. The 2019 Nissan Frontier i was assigned smelled like they just pulled out the river and was squeaking so badly. The turn radius was messed up and it wondered all over the road. There were dints and dings all over it, it took us 10 mins to document everything before i left with it.Thank you again for the great customer service! I hope next rental i have to do is a better vehicle though.

HORRIBLE experience at this location. I had a reservation and received a phone call as I was on my way in an UBER, heading to the Cape Girardeau location from the St.Louis airport (2hr commute), to be told they did not have a car for me. I was offered to come “hang out” to see if a car would be turned in. The manager can’t be reached “off duty” to resolve issues such as this and doesn’t authorize others to negotiate a resolution. Said manager never returned my phone call. I was informed this is a common occurrence in the summer time. BEWARE of the lottery reservation you make at this location. They may or may not have a car available. This ranks in the top 5 WORST customer service experiences I’ve had.
