I have never posted anything on yelp before. Never been mad enough at the establishment to make a deal about it. HOWEVER. This store was a disappointment. The staff was friendly which was good. It was generally clean in the store too, but I am highly pissed at the fact that the employees don't understand the concept of the color red. I went in and told the woman who offered to help that I was looking for red hair dye. I showed her a photo of my previous hair and it was bright red. Now someone please explain to me why this woman gave me a dye that barely turned my hair red. My hair was stained red from bad box dye in the past, but that shouldn't impact the end color too much. The box was bright red, but the color barely stayed on. I have about 3 inches of natural hair growth at my roots and after applying the dye and washing it out, my roost are still brown. The woman who helped me said to leave it on for about 35-40 minutes, even when the box said only 30. I left my dye in for nearly an hour (55 minutes). SO WHY IN THE WORLD IS MY HAIR NOT RED. The only change that happened to my hair was that the stained hair turned more red, but not by much. From a store that sells its supplies to professional hair salons, I would at least expect a hair dye that would actually work. -10/10 review. Will not be back if I don't get either a refund or a better product because this is absolutely ridiculous.

I just experienced the worst customer service today for many years I have shopped online with Sally’s with no problem. Situation: I went into the store with my receipt and the product that I was returning. The representative asked me if I wanted my refund amount returned to my debit card. I answered NO because I no longer have the card. Of course it’s Christmas time I have been shopping in serval stores like any other customer there’s a possibility you could lose your card. The representative ignored my response and continue to process my refund on to the card that I just told her not to. I accept the fact of no cash back . But not even store credit ? Wow I must say sikeston store had a much better response. So in the end I was told to contact customer service. Neither of the store associates provided the customer service number. I currently haven’t received my money or at least a gift card the associates literally took no responsibility for their mistake then I asked for them to call a manager in which they were not able to get a hold of ! The assistant manager was contacted and she said she didn’t have an answer as well it’s sad that during this time of the year no one has been able to give me an option they basically saying forget my money take the receipt call customer service and Owell this post is to let customers know to be careful of using your debit cards. You could experience the same results. I would love to reach the STORE MANAGER About this issue . Store number #3401. My friend also witness me not receiving the worst customer service ever. Even if you don’t know what to do at least try .

The lady was very rude to me when I asked about what volume to get for my levels. She said that she was in a bad mood today which is why she didnt want to take the extra few minutes to help me with my questions I had. She told me what volume and then she walked away. I work in costumer service so I understand being in a bad mood at work, but its hard for a young customer like me to come into a beauty store and be talked down to.One of the comments that was very rude in my eyes is when I was trying to crack a joke and tell her I do a lot of throwing color into my hair, she gave my hair a hard nasty look and told me she could tell. I understand that my hair does look like its been dyed a lot, but to make a comment like that to a customer was very rude.If you plan on going to Sally's, I advice you to do your own research so you don't have to "waste" the workers time.

Highly Disappointed in the service I received today! Highly!! I walked in today at 2:07 pm on 6/13/21 and asked the associate did they carry a particular item, she said and I’ll quote” ummmm, not that I see” with a smirk on her face. As I looked where she was looking, I said oh I see there here. No response, no eye contact, no apology. I left knowing she did not want me to shop there. No problem! I often come to buy items from sally as it is close to my work, but today, sadly never again!

Ladies were so helpful in helping go thru the various selections of hair and saved me time and frustration by guiding me to the Human Hair only I was looking for.Even with the world being upside down after i made my purchase I didn't feel rushed out and was able to look through the different lashes available.Cape's Sally's is the best (of many) Sally's of been to.itCustomer Service is key opposed to being huge and they get 5 stars on that.

I can say that my trip here was unpleasant. I definitely won’t ever be spending a dime here. I’ve never been so uncomfortable at a Beauty supply place, of all places. The lady Sharon or Shannon (not sure) didn’t care to help at all. I must have been a nuisance to her.

Today is my first visit to sally's. I like it very much. The staff is very friendly, answer my every question patiently and help me compare prices and functions. The girl with yellow hair (sorry forgot to ask her name) I I like her very much. When she asked me if I should apply for a rewards member, I said yes without hesitation. I will be there a lot.:)
