I have been taking all of my fur babies to Skyview for many years. ALL of the veterinarians there have been wonderful to us! And the vet techs & front desk guys/gals are just as wonderful! But I want to specifically mention Dr. Stephen Curry for a moment. I can’t say enough Great things about this man, as a Doctor and as a person! He’s our go to especially when things are tough! He has been nothing short of caring, compassionate & knowledgeable! He has soothed our fears many times over and has taken Wonderful care of our babies and US!I truly believe if it weren’t for him our little Bruno would not have survived to see his second birthday! He’ll be 7 in February!!!He treats our babies as if they were his very own! He truly understands that his patients are as important to us as our actual children and that makes them important to him as well! I could continue on and on about him but that would make for a Very long read!I honestly could never thank you Enough Dr. Curry, but THANK YOU for all that you do! Your professionalism, courtesy & sincerity mean more than you’ll ever know! We couldn’t ask for any better care than what you have given us! I will never and I mean Never go anywhere else as long as you’re in practice there! Skyview is lucky to have you and the other veterinarians there that take such great care of us!

I took my sick dog into this office last week. Dr. Curry was the vet that took care of NOTHING! I emailed my dog's history to him because the vet tech asked me too. He came in the room and basically told me she was not going to make it through the night and to take her to St. Louis. I asked him to look at her history/blood work. He said he didn't need too. I asked him if he could give her a fluid pack until I could get to St. Louis. I have seen this before and it has helped so much in the past, plus she was dehydrated. He told me he had no idea what I was talking about. Really? This was very concerning. It's subcutaneous fluids until I could get to St. Louis. He got mad and said he was done with this and walked out. I couldn't believe it. I had a very sick dog and he was not willing to give her any fluids until I got to St. Louis. He never introduced himself when he walked into the office. He had a bad attitude from the beginning. No compassion for me and what I was going through at all. I was there visiting family from out of state. I ended up going to another vet office where they gave her fluids and nausea medication. She made it through the night and went back the next day for more fluids. She is now back home with me and doing just fine.Being a healthcare provider myself I would never had treated my patients like this. Dr. Curry you take an oath in any healthcare profession. I am not sure what you were going through that day or if this is your nature, but you neglected my dog and abandoned us when we needed you badly. You never said I am sorry for what you are dealing with or had any compassion at all!I know about Dr. Bryd and wished I would have gotten him or anyone else that had a heart and would have cared more.It only takes one Vet to bring the place down and I hope that whoever reads this stays clear of this man and his egotistical ways.I found out later that day that they were closing early for a party/Christmas. So there you go...he needed to get out of there.

I never post reviews but I felt the need to in case it can help other cat owners. The short version for people who don't want to read a novel: In the past this place used to be very clean and as you can tell they have quite a few good reviews so I gave them a few tries. They just don't know how to handle cats when they are scared, period. They claim in their reviews to be a fear-free vet, but this is simply not true. They do absolutely NOTHING to try to make your cat more comfortable. For example, other vets have cleaned the room between visits, let him smell them out before touching, gave him treats/squeeze cheese to distract him. None of that was done, but I'd recommend this to them in the future. I'm sure with a few changes they can be a great place. Another I recommend to them is to do more research or leaning about scared/anxious cats. And to add to that: They have a cat that roams around the office which doesn't help when your cat isn't used to being around other cats. I get that it's cute and it's a vet clinic but I would expect for professionals to know that some cats aren't used to that. This past time I took him in the room we were in wasn't clean. I get there being a little cat hair and smell but it was everywhere and it looked like there was some kind of unknown liquid in the chair there. My cat is very well behaved at home and honestly at every other vet we've brought him too. He is fiesty (hissing, lunging etc.) when we bring him to this place. You can tell he is scared every time and uneasy. Which I completely understand is not their fault, however, I don't understand why it's only them. Plus, I they don't know how to respond or make him more comfortable. Maybe it's the office cat, the smells, the way they handle him etc. The past few times we have went there we've had vet techs that seem very inexperienced, like they are scared of him. They called him mean and bad, which is just unprofessional in my opinion. They also recommended not to get the vaccine when they were unable to give it, they said "he's older so it doesn't matter anymore." I personally just felt that they were uneducated or didn't care. It may not even be there fault, they could just not be trained right by this place. I'm not sure, but they seem to have no empathy and just blame everything on him, instead of understanding kitty behavior and getting to the bottom of things. Have they never dealt with a cat that is scared and old before? We tried one more time and had them visit him at home but they sent the exact two same vet techs that were scared of him before and called him mean. I'm not sure why the actually vet wasn't taking care of him when they others weren't able to. I understand that they are busy and the vet techs are there to help out but this should be the exact case where they step in, we said we were willing to pay extra if that's what it took. This is just one thing though, the prices are pretty expensive in comparison to other vets in cape. They seem to kind of try to push extra vaccines, procedures, etc. on you. I've heard it from multiple people and experienced it myself. I will say I really loved the vet tech or clinician named Ethan, he was very empathetic and knowledgeable last time we had him. Dr. Foutz was great as well if you are going to go there. I can't speak for dogs, but coming from a cat owner that loves her cat like a son, I personally wouldn't bring my cat here again. I gave it multiple tries. I even called to voice that we weren't happy and why, they didn't have any questions or concerns to follow up. They just strike me as a busy place that only cares about turning over their customers as fast as possible. Since they do have a lot of customers, they don't care about the ones they lose or why. I just wanted to try to help out other cat owners because this has really been just a stressful experience.

Passing through town on vacation and our dog needed an emergency visit. They were the 8th clinic I called, no one had the staffing available to get our dog in. They said they would would get him in and they were fantastic. Both the vet tech and the doctor were so very patient, they listened to our concerns and proceeded to explain very thoroughly what the next best course of action should be. We never felt rushed, even though they were very busy and were working us into their schedule. They were very caring and understanding and respectful of our emotions at this difficult time. I cannot say enough for how well they treated us out-of-towners in our time of need. I only wish we could have a vet clinic like this at our home 1000 miles away.

Such sweet & caring staff! We boarded our 20 year old dachshund here while we went out of town & they took such good care of him. At his age it was hard for him to eat & most of the time you had to hand feed him. They fed him soft food with a spoon and when we came back from our trip he had gained weight! We could tell he was very well taken care of. I was so happy with them that I got them a thank you gift. Our dog has passed recently, & they were nice enough get us a sympathy card. Pujols became a lot to take care of at his age, & they did an amazing job making sure he got everything needed & was happy. I would recommend this vet to anyone!

They were fantastic and patient with my pet who is usually very anxious around strangers. We also got a very cute tote bag and a little toy.
