Went to Dollar General today for a few things and as expected they were busy, I feel I need to address something- The cashier Judy was wonderful, The times I’ve been in there she has waited on me and is so friendly and helpful that that’s the reason I go to that store but on this particular day as I said it was super busy There was a long line of people and only two cashiers Judy being one of them when it was my turn. I went to the other lady and she said she was closing her register and to go to the other one, even though there were many people in front of me and many people behind me which is no big deal but when she left, I heard her tell my cashier that she had to leave for a while had something personal to do and if anybody asked she was in the back working but I saw her leave. I only am addressing this because it was hard on the remaining cashier and not everybody in the line was as nice or as patient as I was, I gave the five stars only because of Judy my cashier.

I always did a lot of shopping at this Dollar General because it is the closest to us but that will change tonight. Myself, my son and his friend went to this store tonight for a few things. I had already gotten all i came for and was just walking around waiting for my 11 year old son and his friend. I was doing what most do while they shop. When i turned the corner of the aisle there was a worker there who waited till i passed and signaled to the other worker to watch me. I seen her, then the other worker most likely seen that i seen and said Hi. I understand they probably have people stealing but i was not and dont appreciate how they handled this. I had no pockets, only a small wallet and things in my hand i was going to purchase. There is no crime in walking around waiting on my son and his friend to finish their shopping. I will simply not do business here anymore, I dont appreciate being treated like a theif while shopping.

so cluttered and dirty.. the customer should not have to move things in the Isles to get to the product they want or leave there cart to go get something because there cart will not fit

This store could be so much more profitable if they would do a few things. Right now, it's mostly people who shop here and have forgotten something in a larger city or are older and can't make the long drive. Always out of stock-even when online says in-stock. The store is always dirty and cluttered, many aisles blocked by stock carts. Living in a smaller town, we would love to be proud of local businesses, but we would drive an extra 20 miles to avoid this store. It's really sad to run a store on the basis of- they have to shop here, where else can they go?
