After 28 years of shopping at this Dierbergs I'm forced to admit how much competition has caused the store to decline. Here's the cookies I got yesterday

The only reason people choose this store over others is because they're ridiculous enough to pay double the price of groceries for a better atmosphere. That was me this morning but while throwing my money away, the pungent smell of weed coming off of the employees (yes, multiple employees I walked past) was WAY too much at 6:30AM. Literally feel nauseous after shopping here. I highly recommend suggesting your stockers to smoke and THEN shower before coming to work.

Rotating from her for two or three because this store has become very pricey since the post-Covid era in their supplies are very low similar to other stores like Walmart, Sams club etc. They have a great bakery at this location it's called the artisan bakery and they make a Fantastic Napoleons That's so delicious and only four dollars. I recommend the store for its location and availability and use it as a convenience store because I get better deals at other lower cost stores like all these however if you need it in a pinch they've got it maybe! Happy shopping!

The produce, deli and bakery are the highlight of this store. Who needs to go up and down aisles with those 3 sections?? Clean, neat and tidy also.

Single-handedly... the best... fruit tart that was ever made. This location is the ONLY Dierbergs in the St. Louis region with a european bakery so you literally can't get it anywhere else. Sunday mornings they sell out so fast because they're freshly made and they are wonderful every. single. time. I look forward to every holiday created to have an excuse to get this fruit tart. I'm more excited about this being at my wedding then the actual wedding (just kidding) you get the picture. It does come in a smaller size too so if you just want to try it out and not commit. * cookie crust* custard filling that's sweet but not too sweet (i'm not an icing girl so this is perfect for me) * variety of fresh fruit on top with a glaze that makes it all stay up and shiny and delicious I know that I didn't rate anything else about the store but the fruit tart seriously makes this dierbergs the best location. Now go get it.

I am getting to know the cashiers and it is very comfortable and this is every time! Recently I got a cake for my daughter's 21's birthday. A number of staff were so helpful!! Thank you!!

The checkout system implemented this fall is terrible! The poor checkers are now required to both scan and bag the groceries. This is inefficient. As an engineer that specializes in human performance and making systems efficient, I can't imagine their management did any studies to identify the impact this change would have on customer service. We have given the system a chance but are going to start shopping elsewhere. It just takes too long to checkout!

Watch for expired products when you shop at the Clarkson location. Purchased on 10/22/2021 a jar of peanut butter with a 6/2/2021 expiration date. Disappointing because this is a great store.

Probably the best market in Saint Louis. Everything is usually clean and all the carts are in order. Easy to navigate even when there is an abundance of people. 99% if the time they will have what you are looking for whether it's food, medicine, or higene products. Workers can be super helpful and always have a nice attitude. There's a reason we chose Dierbergs over it's competition.

Maybe 2&1/2 stars. Excellent selection and quality of grocery merchandise. However the prices are very high compared to Walmart and Aldi. "name brand" products. That's why I do most of our shopping at W.M. and Aldi. Also they have junked up the store with all sorts of chochkas that are better sold at Pier One or B. B. and Beyond. I'm quiet sure the markup on these items is very high so they may help offset the lower markups on more competitive products. (The prices on competitive items are not at all competitive). They have an expanded wine department but it's difficult to compare prices with Total Wine because there are so many blind label items. Therefore our family does almost all our grocery shopping at the hated W.M. and the o.k. Aldi's. A penny in my pocket is more important to me than a penny in Greg's pocket
