First time I visited here I was getting a partial foil (price listed on site was 100$) I was asked if I wanted a cut and I said yes but they failed to mention it was 50$!! After I was visibly upset, they mentioned the first cut was complimentary. Somehow my total still came out to be 150$. I decided to try one more appt with the same stylist. This time a full foil (price listed on site is 126$). The stylist charged the full foil as 147$ and went ahead and added in gloss (30$ extra) without mentioning it to me to see if I was ok with this. She asked if I wanted a deep conditioning and said it was highly recommended. I asked the cost of this and she said an additional 30$. I asked what my total at the moment was so I could decide wether or not I would have enough to do that. She said again additional 30$, I opted out because somehow my total was already at 176!! I asked how it is that much? She said well a full foil is 147 (again incorrect on site) and 30$ for gloss (I was never asked about this as an additional service, she just assumed it was ok and did it anyways!!) When I mentioned the pricing on the site she said mine was more expensive because of the coloring (blonde). Never in my life have I paid so much to dye my hair and to top it all off, I was never asked if I wanted a style. So not only did I pay a tremendous amount more but I left the salon without my hair being styled. I have never left a salon feeling so down about my hair. Wouldn’t recommend coming here unless you have an endless amount of money and don’t mind surprise add on costs for services you never agreed to. Also want to add that there is nothing special about my hair that would drive the cost up like it does at this salon. I have relatively thin hair and I have dirty blonde hair that lifts easily with color to brighten it up a bit. The normal pay for my hair is around 100-120$. I looked at the salons pricing PRIOR to coming in so I could make sure it was in my range and it was based on their site but again pricing is NOT accurately listed and there are a lot of “add on” treatments that MOST salons include in their price that is listed on the site.Services: Hair glossing

I am an unnatural blonde and have had a lot of bad experiences with full highlights, so I didn’t have very high expectations going in to my first appointment. But OH MY GOSH I left with the best hair I have ever had. I booked last minute and they were able to work me in with Larry at 7am, which worked so well with my schedule! Larry was the most professional and talented stylist I have ever met and honestly worked a miracle on my hair. The man literally went through my entire head and pulled out only the dark strands of hair to highlight to reduce breakage and give me the all-over blonde I asked for, and I still cannot believe the results I got. In one session at Blanca I got the results I only could have hoped to attain within 3-4 sessions at my previous salon. It’s literally the best my hair has ever looked. I’m writing this 2 weeks after my session because I just can’t believe how well the color has held up and how healthy my hair still feels. I have recommended this place to all of my blonde friends, your hair will thank you later!

First, I want to say the staff at Studio Branca in Chesterfield are exceptional and beyond amazing! Not only do I highly recommend them, but I also want to give a shout out to 3 absolute angels who made this an enjoyable, memorable and meaningful experience.Two stylists in particular went above and beyond for my 80-year-old mother-in-law who desperately needed a color correction just days before traveling to a Celebration of Life for her sweet husband of 61 years.My mother in-law had gone to a lower end salon for hair color and decided quickly after that the color just wasn’t “her”. She proceeded to go to a beauty supply store to purchase product to try to correct it which left her with a head full of bright mustard yellow hair.Overwhelmed with the loss of her husband and being distraught over how she looked in this horrible color, she called us in tears. I quickly called Studio Branca moments before they were closing and spoke with this lovely girl, Lianna, who listened patiently while I was trying to relay details to her from my mother-in-law in hopes of booking an emergency consultation appointment. Lianna booked her for the following morning & upon arrival, met us at the reception area where she listened compassionately while my mother-in-law shared her story while giving her kind words of encouragement and empathy.Soon after, we met Erika Dillender and little did we know at the time, Erika was going to perform hair miracles along with the assistance of Jamie Healy.There are a lot of uncertainties with color correction and after the consultation, even though they were very busy and we had not booked a color correction appointment, Erika decided she was not letting my mother-in-law leave until she looked beautiful and felt confident, knowing that the days ahead for her will be hard enough and very special as she honors her husband at his Celebration of Life.Until Erika put the color remover on, we didn’t know exactly what we were working with and what could be accomplished that morning. The color remover removed the yellow which is all we could ask for and her hair was then a very light auburn but dull.Being booked for the day, she could have told her that she didn’t have time to add color as we only booked a consultation. She could have asked her to book another appointment. We would have been thankful the yellow was gone but Erika was determined to go above and beyond to make sure she looked vibrant and felt beautiful.Because she was booked, she enlisted the help of another stylist, Jamie Healy, who is just as much of an “Angel” as Erika is. Together, they worked in tandem to perfect my mother in law’s hair. During this entire time, I cannot express how much love and compassion and pure genuine care was given from Lianna, Erika and Jamie.They took this 80-year-old distraught women who had been crying all night, and turned her into this confident, beautiful woman she always has been, with the most gorgeous, vibrant, warm brown color. It looks breathtaking!Lianna, Erika and Jamie, our family cannot thank you enough and are indebted to you for all you did, not only professionally, but also the genuine compassion you showed my mother-in-law! She will only go to Studio Branca from now on for all her hair needs! You three are truly Angels on Earth!Service: Hair coloring

On my first visit, I had Rob for the stylish, and he was awesome. Rob listened to what I wanted for cut and style. He did exactly that and exceeded my expectations. Rob took his time with me and actually had a real conversation. If I could have, I would have given this salon and Rob more than 5 stars.

Despite there being miscommunication between the front desk, Kristi made me feel welcome and I felt like she really heard me when it came to what I wanted. I was recently going to another hair extension salon until there was too many bad experiences so decided to venture out and try a new hair stylist after a friend referred me. I would highly recommend going to see Kristi at Studio Branca. Her assistant Rob and her had amazing energy and I will be back! Thank you again!

I am really sorry to be writing this review, because the salon in general was so nice at first and took care of me. My complaint is with the stylist Kristie, who failed to give back a full pack of tape ins after removing my hair last winter (less than a year ago) and the salon who did not believe me or even try to solve this issue with me. I was never late or missed an appointment until the last time I had an appointment. It was my last because of how I was treated. I was on my last week of pregnancy and accidentally slept through my appointment. She charged me the full price of my service instead of half or a portion like what is fair and usual practice. I was so torn on coming back I was hurt and also felt bad about the no show. But I soon realized that it is not custom to do this especially to a customer that has not done that before. I bought hair product, I came in on time, tipped well...I was a good customer and still I'm treated like this. On top of that when I ask for my hair back, not only did I get the run around for at least a month about it and no real message from Kristie trying to talk about it or make it better..she did not give back all of my hair. It's not about the money, it's the principal of it. If it was about the money, I wouldn't have easily spent so much on services and product. My regret is letting them charge me full price on a service not rendered, that is unfair. It is also illegal to steal something that is paid for by someone else. I never received my tape ins back, and the salon won't even try and reimburse me for it. They think I'm lying apparently, why would I lie? I could have saved all of this time and effort. I don't think it necessary to do this for something I already have. I could have easily moved on if that were the case, and would have been preferred. I do not make things up to just waste my time, I do this when I am mistreated blatantly more than once and then not believed when I say something about it. As this was going on I also heard many stories from at least 3 different ladies (who referred me to Kristie and who I referred to Kristie) who no longer go to Kristie because of her mal-practices. The salon never called me back when trying to resolve this issue, I took months trying to resolve it and I was never believed. Every time I called I was told I'd be called back and I was never called back. There is some shady things going on and I'm not the only one that that's gone through things like this with her. I even took a picture of what I received and I was still not believed, they insist I have all of my hair. But how do they know? The stylist kept client hair at her own house, and not at the salon. I had bought a volume weft and a pack of tape ins because of the shaved side of my head. It's on Kristies instagram even what she put in my hair. I only got back the weft and not the tape ins. So no, I did not get back all of my hair.

I do not normally write reviews, but I figured I would write this one to save someone else the aggravation!Since my regular stylist, Taylar was on vacation, I decided to make an evening appointment with another stylist at the Studio Branca Chesterfield location last week. After driving all the way down to the salon, I was met with a sign taped to the front door saying that the salon was closed due to air conditioning issues. Since I did not receive a phone call, email, or text, I had no idea. Communication is key! I decided to call their Creve Coeur location to speak with a manager. The manager apologized and said that she was not sure why someone did not communicate with me about the issues at the Chesterfield location. I asked her when Taylar was coming back from vacation, and she advised me that Taylar would be back the following Monday. She said she would have Taylar call me to schedule an appointment. Monday morning, I received a text from the salon advising me that Taylar was no longer available for a men's cut and I would have to schedule with another stylist. I decided to call the salon to find out why Taylar was no longer available. The receptionist stated that Taylar had too many clients and she was going to let some of her current clients go. Keep in mind that I have seen Taylar three times in the past with no issues. Not only did the salon fail to effectively communicate with me causing me to waste my time and money driving down to the salon, Taylar decided to divorce me as her client!! Completely unacceptable, truly unprofessional and extremely uncalled for!!Customer beware!!Service: Haircut
