The Chesterfield store has reorganized all of their wines by location so I had to ask a representative to show me where some of my favorite wines were located because I couldn't find them

I'm not a drinker but went here with my husband and this place is SO COOL!!!! The inside is super nice, the selection is unbelievable, and the prices were great. I was extremely surprised and impressed. Looks like they do special wine tasting events, have a walk in cooler to shop in, a draft bar, and a cigar room.

Bought a bottle & was waiting for my buddies to finish looking around. As we were leaving an employee ran after us into the parking lot & rudely accused us of stealing. Luckily had my receipt in hand so she just went back inside begrudgingly. (FYI we were all young black males) Will not be coming back to this location

I came here on New Years Eve, 8 minutes before closing and I only know that because the person working made sure to tell me and everyone else who walked through the door that they were about to close in 8 minutes and that we needed to hurry up. He also walked through the store and told people things like “make a swift selection because when the cashier closes the drawer, there are no more purchases”. I was thankful that they were open but did not like being followed around the store with him yelling about how long I have to make a selection.

Stopped in while in STL for a business trip looking for bourbon. The rep who was there was very knowledgeable and made some great recommendations! I was also able to taste a few that I haven’t had before. I truly appreciate when the staff know their juice!

They have a great selection! I rarely leave disappointed.Wanted to pass own a big shout out to their guy Sam, who gives samples and has a profound knowledge of whiskeys & scotches.I swear I wasn’t going to buy anything other than the budgeted beer, but he had me walking out with a $60 bottle of tequila and feeling great about it! :DIf you're not sure about what to get, ask for Sam and he'll give you a lot of good perspective and make the experience fun.

I was so excited to go to this location to stock up for an upcoming party at our home. My 2 young kids were with me and LOVED the Halloween decor. I found what I needed, but was also in the market for a new red wine. Not a single person asked me if I needed help. Oh well, maybe everyone was busy. Then I got to the register, and the long-haired checker could not have been MORE RUDE to me OR MY CHILDREN. Fine, kids aren't your thing- but not only did he scold ME for starting to unload my cart (I guess he preferred I give him one of each kind of bottle, then count then up), but I walked out with a cart full of 15 bottles. No box. No bag. Nothing. He actually sighed so loudly in relief that the transaction was finally over, I thought someone was playing a joke on me. I considered going and talking to a manager, but figured I would cool off for a few days and think about it. Well, that was over a week ago and am still pissed. I normally go to Dogwood (which I despise because they have ZERO customer service and I feel like I'm in a warehouse), but it's closer to my home and honestly, I'd rather have no service than the service I got that day at Total Wine.

Stepping into Total Wine & Food is like entering the Hogwarts of hooch, Narnia for nectar aficionados. The shelves teem with a cornucopia of libations that would make Dionysus himself wonder if he'd died and gone to Bacchic heaven. It's like a 'choose your own adventure' book, but instead of dragons and wizards, you're navigating aisles of ales, spirits, and vinos. The staff must have graduated from some secret sommelier school, because their knowledge of reds, whites, and everything boozy in between rivals that of any wine snob's. Ask for a recommendation, and they'll guide you with the precision of a GPS to your new favorite tipple. And the cleanliness of the store? It's as if Mr. Clean himself is on the payroll. Every bottle shines, the floors are as spotless as a freshly popped champagne glass, and the air smells of... well, okay, it smells of alcohol, but it's the good stuff! So, if you're looking for a magical, intoxicating journey, look no further. Total Wine & Food is your one-stop-shop for all things fermented, distilled, and brew-tiful. Just don't forget your shopping list... or you might end up bringing home the whole store.

Good selection with reasonable prices and deals. It's always very tidy, and you can tell they put a lot of thought into their store and inventory.

Came in ready to spend a lot of money because this is the only place tht has the beer I like, wouldn’t sell to me because 1 out of 3 of us that went to bathroom wasn’t 21. Understandable, came back 2 hours later and they still wouldn’t sell to me even though I was clearly by my self. I get it’s the “rules” but that is the dumbest rule ever. I wouldn’t have been so upset if the workers were atleast nice about it. Instead, they were so rude and had tone and attitude in their voice. Very disrespectful to potentially paying customer. Never shopping at total wine again.

Manager not friendly. Will not be going back. I'm 30 years old and didn't have my id when I was with my boyfriend who was buying alcohol, and the manager followed me to the door and said since I walked in with him she needed my id and she wouldn't let him check out because of it. I understand to an extent, but following someone who is 30 years old to make sure they have an id is absolute insanity. While you're at it make sure you check the kids in the stores ids too????
