Driving home after a grooming appointment that cost nearly $300, I noticed one of my dogs was bleeding from his paw. Once we got home, I also noticed his chest was shaved at two different lengths.I called the store and got “oh, gee. I’m sorry” for not telling you that I cut your dog. Oh and his hair grows in two different directions at that point on his chest. It’s all the same length.Call the following day from one of the “grooming managers” was more of the same. She confirmed she had seen the picture (attached here) and spent 10 minutes telling me the hair is all the same length. No. Just no.Check the picture for yourself. Would you be happy with this result? And not being told your dog had been injured while in the groomer’s care?Never again. Never.

I have a 5 month old Shiba Inu puppy she's about 10lbs if that. A month ago she was I was charged $30 (included bathing and nail clip) since she is a puppy no cut is necessary. Today upon my 2nd visit the price jumped $17 and according to John the groomer it's because, "she is almost an adult dog at 6 months". Idk what that means because if she isn't an adult then she is a puppy smh. Prior to me questioning the price jump the cashier asked if i wanted to give a tip. After she heard the groomers horrible explanation she didn't even bother asking that again. The groomer either didnt realize he groomed a puppy or he added on a tip for his services today. It's disappointing to be over charged and even worse for groomers to take advantage of new unknowing customers. My puppy was clean and her nails trimmed but they are very sharp. She had some crust residue in her eyes, dandruff throughout her fur and a lot of loose hair that blew all over my car. Pricing should be set and established. A customer should never be surprised at the register nor have to ask the groomer to come out and explain pricing. I gave 3 stars because my previous visit was ok and pricing was upfront. The 1st vist my puppy had dandruff too but overall she is still in good spirits after both grooming visits. I'm not sure if I would recommend only because it was very weird energy when I asked for pricing information. I'm not sure I will return myself.

I wanted to give a shout out to Dzenana at Lola’s. My dog, Ruthie, is always so excited to see her and she does a fabulous job grooming her. It’s amazing that Dzenana is able to handle Ruthie as she is a highly energetic doodle! It makes me so happy to know Ruthie enjoys her time at Lola’s and is well taken care of here. I love Lola’s and highly recommend.

We absolutely loved this place!! We were invited to a Halloween party hosted there and it was so awesome. I have a little dachshund who doesn't do great when I take her to some of the bigger pet stores but she loved it here! They have a huge selection and have everything you can think of when it comes to treats, food, bones, clothes etc. It's very welcoming and the staff are so sweet and awesome. We can't wait to visit again!!

I attended a event at Lola and Penelope's last night for Halloween and ended up leaving with a bag full of goodies for my cat and dog friends. It is a very open and well-stocked place for being right in the middle of Clayton. They had a lot of really good pet treats with excellent ingredients which is what I find to be the most important thing when focusing on my fur babies. The people who were staffing the cash registers were some of the nicest human beings I've ever met. But I did get to meet my fair share of sweet puppies last night as well for the event. I will absolutely be back to stock up on more treats for my cats in the future.

Had a great time at the 3rd Annual Howl-o-ween Barktacular at Lola and Penelope's! After parking in the nearby garage (which was surprisingly open/easy to navigate even on a Friday evening) I had a short walk next door to get to the store/event. It was my first time in the store and I was impressed by multi-floor space filled with lots of adorable clothing and tasty treat options. I brought my dog who had the best time sniffing the wall of available treats, looking at all the snazzy sweaters and begging for a cool new toy- we ended up with a couple of new toys and a chicken treat that almost didn't make it home in one piece. I have a feeling we'll be back sooner than later!

Everything is extremely overpriced, and management is cruel. Customers who get their dogs regularly groomed may receive a card when they pass away - but don't be fooled. They're only "sorry" they won't be able to use your pet to line their pockets anymore. It's an incredibly hollow gesture. Employees do NOT receive the same treatment when tragedy strikes. Not so much as a piece of paper! For a business named after two deceased pets, they really don't care. There's no empathy or genuine love for animals from management. It's all about making as much money as possible. Please buy your pet products and services elsewhere, seriously - the prices are through the roof, and the owner is NOT a nice person. Even small businesses can be run by slimy people who treat their employees poorly. This job tormented my partner.
