This is the last time I go to this CVS. I've gotten my prescriptions at 8101 Clayton Rd. for years. A few months back the store got a new pharmacist. It's been headaches for me ever since. I don't think they've gotten one prescription right since. When I've brought up their mistakes, I've been yelled at twice. I've experienced: only getting half the pills prescribed; filling an old prescription with old dosing rather than filling the latest script (this has happened to me twice now); leaving out a medication all together. Today I went in to ask that they fill the prescription that they forgot to fill last week. The young woman was very nice and said it would be about a half hour. She asked if I wanted to wait or come back. I said I would come back. I came back 4 hours later to the drivethru. There I was told the prescription wasn't ready and would take 30 minutes to fill. When I expressed my dismay, I was told the pills hadn't been counted out yet. It takes 30 minutes to count out 30 days worth of pills?! No apology except to say that they were short-staffed. This only goes so far. Can you imagine if I had waited in the store for them to fill the script?! 4-1/2 hours! I was so livid my husband had to go back to pick up the prescription. He brought back two medications-- and sure enough, they filled one of the scripts with the wrong dosage pill! Sorry, CVS, you have totally lost my trust!

had oral surgery. three implants done. came to get pain meds filled. tech behind counter said she would not expedite my prescription because they're were going to lunch and had too many other patients meds to fill. Called for manager. Showed him my condition. He didn't give a rats ass either. Went down to bottom of hill to mercy pharmacy on Manchester. In and out in ten minutes. Won't ever darken cvs doorstep again. They can kiss my ----

Worst CVS in St.Louis. Pharmacy is either always backed up, is out of stock of meds, or the people are awful. Worth it to drive farther for meds.

I come here all the time as I'm taking more than 10 Rx at present. My experiences have been all over the place, but it's 2023 and pharmacy employees have it rough. Thomas is my favorite employee. He does his job well, he pays attention, he has empathy, and he even made me chuckle once. Thank you, Thomas!

Shout out to the pharmacy staff today for their outstanding customer service. I scheduled a Covid booster shot at the Target CVS which was understaffed and then discovered expired vaccines after waiting past scheduled time. This CVS was so accommodating and professional. Everyone I talked to was so nice and helpful. How can there be 7 or 8 working at this CVS pharmacy and 1 at the other and how does a pharmacy not know their vaccines expired? Several had to be turned away from the Target CVS. My vote is for Clayton & Brentwood!

Made an online MMR vaccine appointment at the Minute Clinics last Friday and went there on Sunday. The lady there tells me that she's off on Friday and gives the last MMR shot on Saturday. There's none left and I had to travel a long way to the Webster Grove location to get the shot (or wait for the new shipment). She was pretty nice and did everything she could to help me. Nonetheless I wish there were better coordination and customers were better informed.

CVS won't price match their own website even though they're over 10% higher in store. If I could get the product anywhere else I would have gone there. No wonder they're going out of business everywhere. If it wasn't for their pharmacy agreement with companies they'd be out of business.

I live nearby and have been shopping here for years. Love the convenience, the hours and the pharmacy. Hardworking staff and they do their best. I'm sad that my insurance won't let me use the pharmacy anymore but I still use it for my dad and for shopping. I work long hours and am grateful to the staff and the pharmacists for helping me keep up with my prescriptions despite my crazy schedule especially during the pandemic. They are 5 stars!

My CVS was out of the only prescription I take. After waiting around for almost a week I suggested they um, try another store? This was the store that had it. I said no problem it's on my way home from work. I got there a couple of minutes to 5 and told the pharmacy my name. She proceeded to tell me it wouldn't be ready for 30 minutes. Not, oh we'll move it to the front of the line since you're here or any basic pleasantry. Just it won't be ready for 30 minutes. Since I'm not good at waiting I went to go have dinner in the area and then came back after. I'll return if I have to but the Town & Country/Ballwin CVS makes this one look like labor camp. It's all smiles and politeness versus no smiles and no politeness!

I can definitely understand the negative reviews here particularly concerning the pharmacy. I received the impression from a pharmacy employee named Kassandra that I was annoying her because I didn't understand why I couldn't get a vaccination at that particular location. She was not friendly or helpful and kept aggressively typing on the computer keyboard. In conclusion, do not go to this CVS pharmacy. You would not feel great about the customer and employee interaction.

I went to pick up 2 prescriptions, which cost $500 out of pocket, which I expected. I partially paid with an HSA account and the rest on a credit card. I thoroughly told the cashier how much I wanted to expense on the HSA card and have the remaining balance on the credit card. Unfortunately, she ran the specified amount on the HSA (I had to reassure her the amount) and then selected cash for the remaining balance, which was incorrect. She had to refund the amount on the HSA card, however, the refund takes a day or so. Consequently I had to run the whole amount on my credit card and was promised I could return in subsequent days to refund that card purchase and use the HSA funds. What a hassle! At the end of the day, this could have been avoided if the cashier would have listened more intently.

Ugh, annoyed! The last THREE TIMES I've been here just to get one item - like, I made a trip there specifically for one item, and each of those three times, they didn't have it. Today, I went there for eggs, as I have every ingredient in my kitchen to make chocolate chip cookies except for eggs. Unsurprisingly, there were none in the case. I asked them to look in the back and had to wait several minutes, hot and holding a squirmy, heavy toddler, when they finally brought up a carton of eggs. Relieved, I paid for it and left. On a hunch, I checked the expiration date on the way home, and they expired three weeks ago. Whoever does the ordering there needs to either improve immediately or be replaced. How hard is it to make sure you order enough inventory? If it was just once or twice, no big deal, but it's happening every time I go in there! Oh, and this CVS is the location of most of the crime in our neighborhood. People shoplift here all the time, as I read the weekly police report put out by the Clayton police department for our neighborhood. Signed, Lady who almost got to make chocolate chip cookies but was foiled by CVS

The pharmacy is terrible. 3 times they have given us the wrong medicine. One time they called me about a refill from the wrong doctor! Such mistakes could be life threatening. They always promise to "look into it." That's the end of my ordering prescriptions there.

Will not use again. I was told prescription would be ready at noon, when I got there at 4:00 they said they did not have the meds in stock and to go to a different location. I went to the other location and they didn't have enough to refill so I left empty handed. I was not notified that the rx was not going to be ready when they said it would be. T
