Very beautiful park we loved it our kids had such a great time. There is a beautiful statue of an elephant that we all loved. We performed a dance around it. There were homeless people nearby and they clapped afterwards.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Shaw Park in St. Louis with my wife, baby, and dog. We were impressed by the park's well-maintained grounds and amenities. The playground was a hit with our little one, and our furry friend enjoyed the dog park. We appreciated the cleanliness and accessibility of the park, making it an enjoyable outing for our whole family. The scenic walking trails and picturesque ponds added to the charm. We look forward to returning and exploring more of what Shaw Park has to offer.Restrooms: Nice and cleanDog-friendliness: Safe

This is a beautiful park. I bring my dog here for exercise. Even if I linger too long, & it gets dark, I still feel safe.

Beatiful layout. Good mix of paths, steps, grades etc. Nice walking for someone like me who cannot do vigorous exercise. Pretty waterfall feature and plenty of benches to sit on and enjoy the ambience. Also plenty of parking.

Restrooms are closed; apparently for the season. It would be helpful for there to be signs and a statement on the web page for the park. There were frustrated people; especially near the playground.Restrooms: Restrooms close; apparently seasonally.

We were far from the only ones at the main playground with splashpad, but we spent over an hour investigating the sensory garden (identifying the plants) right next to it once we decided we needed something calmerPlayground: Several playgrounds- one a ninja-warrior style rope course, the main 'tree house' gated one with swings and splashpad, and I am going to count the sensory garden as a playground, too- we spent a lot longer than I thought we would!Restrooms: Several picnic shelters with bathroomsPicnic area: Multiple places with tables set up, and then the various covered picnic shelters with bathrooms and BBQ grills

The playground is closed for the season but there is a neat ivy tunnel that leads to a sensory garden for kids to explore. They are redoing the splash pad which is why it's closed. Excited to see how it turns out.

The main pavilion was taken over by a large family having some sort of BBQ family reunion type of thing with loud, bass driven music and obnoxious unruly kids running wild. Not really a place I want to spend time in if this is allowed
