I try to avoid going into a bank - it's 2023, we can do everything on our phones, right? But when I do have to go in, this is my branch of choice. There's rarely much of a line and the employees are always ready to help. They have a couple of notaries, so you don't have to make an appointment. I've also ordered foreign currency from them, and when there was an issue with it being delivered on time, an employee tracked it down and kept me up to date during the whole process.

The bank tellers here are very nice! The manager here is very rude and disrespectful for no apparent reason. Seemed to me he was upset that a us bank client wrote me a check and I came to cash it here. Apparently he feels as though he can ask personal questions about why someone has wrote me a check. When I asked why he was asking he said "Because he could!!!After he rudely directed me to go have a seat in the lobby while he conducted some from of investigation. About ten minutes later informing me that he was in fact not going to cash the check because he didn't have enough information. I dont understand what that information could have been but when I talked to the client that wrote the check she told me that she had spoken with this gentleman and answered all the security questions that he asked. Being that this gentleman had an obvious attitude problem soon as he approached me I have to other choice but to believe that me being a person of color had everything to do with this encounter. YOU CAN NOT PUT SOME PEOPLE IN POSITIONS of authority they will abuse it. This in my opinion gives us bank a bad name. With behavior like this he should not be allowed to manage any branch of any bank . JUST RIDICULOUS!!!! This was a white gentleman with one rack of braces on his teeth he desperately needs some diversity training. I would give zero stars if I could!!!

The coin counter NEVER works!!!Despite the manager saying the tech will be here in the morning to fix it....it is ALWAYS BROKEN!!!!I'm done. I'm going to find another bank with the same amenities. This change is my child's monthly toy buying change. He has been wanting to cash in from him saving for a year, for 2 weeks now....but its been broken 6 times I have came....and 6 times different people say there will be someone to fix it in the morning. Stop lying to my child. He can start a ban else where.

There was a mistake made by the city regarding our property taxes back in April 2021. The city corrected the mistake, but since we have our mortgage with US Bank, they have to reconcile the issue as well. They never did. We've been over paying our mortgage premium since May 2021 and it is now Sept 2021. They simply say they will fix it by a specific date and never do. My husband is literally sitting in the Clayton US Bank right now begging them to fix it. He's been sitting there for 3 hours. Each time he goes in to make progress every couple of weeks, he sits there for hours while they sit on the phone and give him every excuse they can as to why they haven't fixed it yet. Not only has no one helped us with this, but no one has and probably will never compensate us for the time and effort that we've lost trying to get this resolved. I understand the poor representatives can only do so much within their power, but this is excessive. I do not recommend using US Bank for your mortgage loan or any other service they provide. This is one of the many reasons we don't bank with US Bank anymore. Now we feel trapped and taken advantage of :(

Adrian Kovacs was immensely helpful and polite. I had trouble dealing with rude or unhelpful US Bank staff at two other branches, but everything was a breeze with Adrian, can't reccomend him enough.

They really try to stay up with customer needs. The system as a whole is not as effective at handling Business needs as others but the business bankers really try to overcome the short falls.

I wrote a check for another US Bank customer for $200 that the ATM read as $2000. The other person called the bank to tell them about the error, and the bank said that the ATM would catch it and it wouldn't go through. The transaction ended up going through for $2000, leaving me in the negative and I ended up with several overdraft fees. This was on 3/29/19. I called customer service several times, as did this other person, over the next several weeks. We were both given different information about when and how my money would be returned. No one could tell us why the error had not been fixed. I finally went into a branch, where, after what seemed to be much arguing among bankers/their managers about the "risk" of this situation (despite both of us having called the bank about this error AND the bank having a picture of my check that clearly said $200), they agreed waive my overdraft fees and give me my money back provisionally until they could transfer my money from the other person's account. After 10 days, they took their provisional money back WITHOUT transferring my money. As of today (4/24 - almost a month later) I still don't have my money from the other person's account. At this point, I am just going to have the other person write me a check for the difference for as much hassle and headache as this has been, and then I will be taking my business elsewhere. I realize that mistakes happen and while the people I have spoken with have been polite, it does not make up for the amount of time that has passed with my money still not being returned. This is highly unprofessional, and I would not recommend US Bank to anyone after this experience.
