My mail carrier used to leave my TOP CLOSING mailbox open. After leaving a sign ASKING the carrier to PLEASE close the mailbox--the carrier USED MY SIGN TO PROP THE MAILBOX OPEN. After complaining to THIS post office 2 times to a SUPERVISOR, and filing a formal complaint online, NOTHING CHANGED. I purchased a $200 mailbox with a door that opens from the front, and falls shut - The mail carrier LITERALLY USED A LETTER TO PROP OPEN MY DOOR.
I approached him on the street and asked him if this was him - while recording a video - he acknowledged that he was the one that used a large letter sized envelope to prop open my mailbox. I asked him if we could insert the mail in a fashion that allows the door to close - he said my mailbox cut him. I informed him that he didn't need to stick his fingers in the mailbox to put my mail in the box and asked him again if we could insert the mail in a fashion that allows the door to close. He said he could do it.
I then filed another complaint over the phone with USPS. Have you had trouble they acknowledged my previous complaint in March and filed a new complaint.
I'm now standing in line to talk to a supervisor - FOR THE THIRD TIME - ABOUT THE CONTINUE TO ABUSE OF MY MAILBOX AND PROPERTY.

I had an appointment for my passport application and Lottie was very helpful walking me through the requirements. She was so kind to wait for me to go and get cash since I only had the credit card with me. She was very professional and friendly, making the event smooth and pleasant. Thanks Lottie. You are amazing.

My passport appointment here on a Monday morning went great. No parking issues, wasn’t crowded, and Sherry Grady helped me correct a few issues with my forms. Big thank you to her!

Staff is always nice, but they are always short staffed.

Based on the reviews, I can't recommend going here, but we worked with Lottie yesterday on a passport application for our baby and she was fantastic. I wanted to make sure she had praise in writing for a job well done. She knew exactly what to do throughout and made sure we understood as well, she got a decent photo of an upset baby, and was organized with all the materials.

Went here to renew my passport and the employee, The employee tried to tell us she couldn’t do it because she had already turned the camera off for the day… she gave us the application anyways and as we were turning it in she said she had to go take her break… so we waited 15 minutes. When she came back she turned the camera on (seemed pretty easy…) took our photo but was rude. She said it costs $130 or $190, when we asked what the difference was she said she wasn’t supposed to help us with things like understanding how to apply for the passport… honestly insane how unhelpful she was trying to be. I get the feeling she was hoping we wouldn’t stay to finish because she kept mentioning that fedex also renewed passports….

Customer service lacking. Team closes early citing “system down”.

My (expensive) Amazon package was supposed to be delivered to my apartment on 9/22/24. I was sitting at home when I got an update from them that says “Delivery attempted, USPS ran into an issue when attempting your delivery. Access to driveway blocked.” I check outside the window, the street is completely free and there is no blockage preventing them from delivering the package. I check the USPS site and it says they will attempt to redeliver the next business day and that no action is needed on my part. I did not receive a pink slip on my front porch, in my mail room, inside my mailbox, or at my door. There has been NO ATTEMPT AT A SECOND DELIVERY. ITS TUESDAY. WHERE IS MY PACKAGE?

Absolute worst managed post office in St. Louis city and county!
Inconsiderate USPS employees park vehicles in prime customer parking, filthy inside and very slow at everything.

The Post Office was closed at 530. The postal worker was inconsiderate and selfish. I had to go through traffic to get here. Please update your summer hours.

Stopping by the post office in Clayton wasn't busy during my visit around noon on a Thursday. It’s a quick spot to get stamps, and the staff was super friendly. My only complaint is that the automatic door in the front wasn’t labeled.

Slowest USPS location I have ever been to. I sell a lot of things online and this location by far is always the worst. You have people walking around doing nothing while one employee is working the counter as the line is backed up with 10-20 people….
Usps vans are always parked in the “customer parking only” spots…
Management here must be terrible. Let’s be better.
5/24 - no one to be found anywhere… been standing here, waiting….

Is this the worst Post Office in the USA? 10 days my package sat in la la land. Shameful and unacceptable! NO help! Never again!

There is a scam where someone will text you about a tracked package you send from here saying it didn't go through. I think this scam is occurring nationally, but it would be helpful if the employees could verify with everyone who sends a package that the USPS does not send texts to head off stolen credit card numbers and the success of this scam.

Please avoid this office at all costs. An expensive package was accepted and never scanned again. They haven’t confirmed the package lost but it’s been over a month now. With little support from this office.
