Moonies Resort & Restaurant offers old fashioned fun and a refreshing dive bar atmosphere at the lake. It is not commercial at all, with a super fun atmosphere and very reasonable prices. The food is really good, including amazing crab ragoon and egg rolls. People are always welcoming, with a great owner and staff, and the locals make visitors feel right at home. It provides the best time on the northern end of the lake for good old fashioned fun, though it is noted not to bring kids after 6:00 pm.
Great little place with amazing service. Wings were amazing and unlike any I have had before. I would have taken pictures of the full basket of wings but my wife , who did not order them ate half. Standard bar menu domestic beer on tap with a full bar. Nice easy access cove and about a dozen slips.

Never stayed here but love the bar and the atmosphere. People are always welcoming and it's refreshing to have a dive bar feel at the lake rather than the fancy expensive pool bars
