Countless people have been telling me they've messed up their prescription once I told my story. About a year ago, they asked me my info (inside lobby) told them, the teenager asked if I was picking up for my last name (I thought duh) and said yes. She then put down my suboxone prescription, plus a family members pain medication. I never gave his info (birth date and so on) I was 5yrs clean at that point, and here all I have to do is sign and I have a free bottle of what stole my soul years ago for free. I explained what she had done (I immediately started sweating and shaking, thinking of the pros and cons of signing for the medications). Basically, she sent me straight back to my first week of detox. After explaining, she apologized, and all seemed fine, but after, I got dirty looks every time I went except for one, Brehana. 5yrs straight every month, they'd fill my prescription the day my doctor sent it in. After their mistake, I was treated like a drug seeker trying to fill early. I didn't know it was 2 or 3 days early. It was routine for me to pick it up day of for 5 years. Wanted to stay at Summers, but I couldn't take the dirty looks and rude phone calls. CVS charges 50% less for my medication, and they're extremely nice with actual adults who will inform you politely if something is amiss. All this over something that wasn't even my fault, and did the right thing by not accepting the medication that wasn't mine. I don't even know that family members birth date, so there's no way I could have given them that info. Just seemed really petty the way they treated me after that situation, and I hope others don't experience the same kind of treatment.

Not a good experience. My prescriptions are all screwed up and on top of it I went in this evening to pick up a medication that I requested at least 3 days ago only to find out that they did not have any left. Well, gosh, couldn't someone have contacted me earlier today or how about 3 days ago? Maybe I would've had time to pick it up somewhere else?

Concerned, caring and professional. Much more personal service than the big chain pharmacies.

I’ve always had very good service with Summers Pharmacy. A couple of minor glitches, but that’s to be expected with any business. I have been with them since the day they opened in Clinton. I’ll give my money to a local hometown pharmacy before I will give it to a big company like the others in town.

I’ve been using Summers Pharmacy for quite some time now. They used to be great and would always have my medications filled same day. Recently however, when I have gone to pick up my medication I have been given an IOU sheet and only about 4/30 of my medication. I understand things happen, and I’m not on super common medications that would always be in stock, but this causes extreme stress and anxiety. My last straw however was today. Yesterday my medication was supposed to be filled as I only had 2 left and I had just had a doctors appointment that morning. I never received a call or text from them saying it had been filled. This morning I called and asked if it had been filled and they said it would be filled before they close. I didn’t even notice until 3pm that I never received a call or text from them. I’m on a medication where it can seriously affect me if I miss a dose and increase the risk of side effects. I tried other options, but they all result in me having to wait until Monday to get my refill. Meaning I am going to have to miss my dose for Sunday night. Just overall Summers Pharmacy has been extremely unreliable when it comes to my medications. If it was for my PRN medications I wouldn’t mind, but this is ridiculous. If they couldn’t get it filled for me today or didn’t have enough in stock I would have understood, if they would’ve just told me. Instead I’ve had to run around like a chicken with its head cut off all day trying to find a solution. Summers Pharmacy used to be great, and I’m just not sure what happened.

They were able to get all of meds where they could be filled on the same day, each month, and remember them for me for monthly refills. I have no worries after my last pharmacy messed up soooo badly. Summers Pharmacy is AWESOME and everyone that works there is very kind they actually care.

Way better than Walmart Pharmacy Walmart Pharmacy I agree maybe a little bit cheaper but that's only because Walmart takes the GoodRx card to lessen the price on prescriptions not covered by insurance how do you want friendly courteous service by people who care ❤ Then Summers Pharmacy is the one. I have tried both Walmart and still ended up coming back to Summers pharmacy , on pawnee rd , in Clinton ... they work with you and are truly dedicated to all your needs...
