I worked for a company that uses them for payroll and they are the worst! Won't tell you anything regarding YOUR PAYCHECK. DOESNT SUBMIT PAYROLL ON TIME. RUDE STAFF (except Michelle who answers the phones, she's usually very helpful). Would not recommend them for any services, and if your employer does go through them expect to get little to no help if you have an issue.

Columbia EDP goes above and beyond with every transaction. They are always friendly, quick to respond, and find solutions to my problems. Payroll used to be one of the highest stress parts of owning a business, and now it is a breeze! I cannot say enough great things about them!!

I work for a company, That never gets payroll in on time!! And there has been some times that we haven't gotten paid on time. Very stressful!! Edp does the payroll and its by no means there fault. But if you call edp and ask whether or not the payroll has been sent in. They won't tell you!! They tell you that you must ask the Employer. Well the only thing with that is. They don't always tell the truth. So its very irritating that Edp can not just tell you if payroll was issued or not. I'm not asking how much I got or how much others make. I just want to know if payroll was issued or not!! Its a simple question

They go beyond what is expected of this type of service! I highly recommend Columbia EDP. During this pandemic, they have provided a wide range of information outside of payroll services, to keep me informed of the ever changing rules, regulations etc... and opportunities such as the SBA PPP and other payroll tax options. I've been using Columbia EDP for about 5 months now. Melissa and Cherry are the best! Being the owner of a start-up business, there are frequently times that I have a question or run into a problem and they are always there to help. Cherry always comes in clutch, whether she's pointing out an error in the employee hours I've submitted or reminding me of a holiday or important date so that I can acknowledge it with my staff. I love the service I've gotten from Columbia EDP and wouldn't think of using any other company!

I have used Columbia EDP for my payroll services since 2011. As a small business owner I appreciate the high level of customer service they provide. They are also quick & accurate with all transactions.

My company uses EDP for our payroll. The worst service ever! My paycheck is incorrect more often than I like to admit online. Last week, I didn't even GET my paycheck and when I did they had it wrong. They paid me like I was a salaried employee instead of hourly and I was shorted. This has been going on for 15 years. I'm not quite sure why we don't seek out another payroll company but that is not in my control.

Horrible customer service, and in general zero help when you need it. A former employer went through them, and i contacted them to try and get copies of my paystubs because I had not received a single one. After about 5 emails to them was told the person who I was emailing was let go, but that they would email me copies, which I never received. Then I contacted them because I hadn't received my w-2, which it is now March. Was told they would call me back once it was ready. Never got a call from them, so I called up to check the status. The person who I spoke with on the phone was one of the rudest people I have ever had to deal with. They kept trying to talk over me and cut me off while I was in the middle of talking. And then when I expressed my frustration from having to jump through hoops to get my W-2 reprinted, they just replied "well we mailed it out, once we mail it out it's no longer our responsibility." Not to mention that every one of my former co-workers from the company who uses them for payroll all said they never received their W-2 form either and had to contact them for a reprint. I would highly advise not going through them for any services, and if your employer does go through them expect to get little to no help if you have an issue.

The company I work for used their services for doing payroll. Got my form to file taxes and the envelope WASNT sealed contacted Columbia Edp about the issue and they told me that they had an issue with the sealing machine that it got fixed and I doubt anyone looked at it. I said I doubt it too but it's a huge security issue with having my social security number and all my information on it. She talked to the manager and said sorry we can't do anything more on it. I figured they would pay for a service to make sure my information isn't getting breached just in case. This is unacceptable from a company that handles all types information.
