It is very unprofessional for BONNIE to talk about paying customers after they leave the store to the next customer in line. I know the woman you were talking about and if she heard you...she probably would've cursed you out or worse. The next customer doesn't want to hear that mess. Keep your bad days and personal opinions about people to yourself BONNIE!!

I'm all about employee's being off on Holidays and enjoying the day I however do not find it amusing to POST a sign DAYS/WEEKS before the holiday announcing store hours only to pull up and find a hand written sign you are closing at 5. I would of never got out of the house had I not saw the posted sign right on the door that you in fact would be opened. I wouldn't of gave it a 2nd thought but here I'am at 7:30pm dragging my 1yr old out in the cold for cleaning supplies that I forgot to purchase cause Paris Rd wants to advertise they are going to be opened when in fact the employees just want to make their own rules up and do what they want- forget what they told their frequent shoppers for the past 3weeks. Y'all are a joke over here- Luckily Vandiver Store kept their word and the whole trip out isn't a complete waste. I hope corporate comes and pays the G.M here a visit cause when I managed a business I kept my word and didn't make up hand written signs when I felt it was ok.

Horrible experience. I was skeptical to go in because the store looked dingy. When i went in the store was disgusting, floors looked like they had never been mopped, products disorganized, bathrooms were disgusting but i still picked my stuff because i didnt wanna stop somewhere else. When i got to the register there was a ghetto ass cash only sign on the register and I didn't have cash so I left the stuff I was going to buy up with the clerk. Clerk was rude as hell, and made smart ass comments as I was leaving. This is the worst dollar general in Columbia don't ever go here. I can't wait til they finally shut the location down.

This store had at least two vagrants hanging out in the parking lot, it looked like they were watching people coming in and out of the store, probably waiting for an opportunity to steal something. There are a number of cigarettes butts that are all over the parking lot and trash around the curves. A shady looking guy went in with a backpack on I am sure ready to fill it. Store pricing is good, decent variety, just needs to get rid of the people that have been hanging around outside. It doesn't make the customers feel too safe.

Tall stacks of merchandise in the aisles, things falling off shelves. Disagreeable clerk saying unfriendly things at the front.

I have never had a problem at this Dollar General. The staff are friendly and helpful. Just be patient when waiting in line if there is only one register open. The staff are doing the best they can. Happy to have this place as my local DG.
