My son has enjoyed his stay with bright start academy since he began in the infant room till now in preschool. He always doesn’t wanna go home which tells me all. What I as the parent like the most is their interactive app that allows real time communication and to see updates about my son multiple times a day, pictures videos and more! Not to mention their amazing management team!

We have two children at Bright Start Academy and have been with the facility for the past two years. We are very pleased with our experience thus far. The building itself is clean, well organized. Each classroom is unique and age appropriate. The teachers and staff have always been polite and personable. Each classroom follows a curriculum, even the infant rooms. My kiddos have found the lessons fun and engaging. Of course there is plenty of free play as well as outdoor play. I always enjoy pick-up to find out what new things they learned that day. Among the many things BSA does well, communication is one of them. They utilize an app you can monitor throughout the day to see daily activities, even share photos. It also has a messaging feature which allows you contact with your children's teacher should you wish to message them. Management has also had an open door policy with us from the very beginning. If I ever had a question or concern the management team was receptive and approachable and worked quickly to achieve resolution. All in all the staff treat your children as their own. If my children are out sick, it's not unusual for them to email or message to check on them to see how they are doing. That small gesture says a lot about a facility--they are truly invested in their children!

My son has been at Bright Start Academy East (aka Bearfield) for almost 3 and a half years. He has been in almost every classroom there. I am very happy with the facility, teachers, and administration. It is a newer building, designed specifically to be a child care center, so small details were considered (small sinks, potties, exits in every classroom, cameras in every room, etc.). The teachers are truly caring and love your child. Many have been there for several years, which is unusual in the child care business. I can count about 10 adults in the building who really know my child, and more than just by name! The teachers help each other out if a little one is upset. For example, if a kiddo is having a tough drop off and does better with a former teacher, that teacher will jump right in and help with the transition. They keep us well updated about both positive and negative things. BSA has started using an App so we get updates and photos throughout the day of what food was served, nap times, activities. This makes it fun to talk to our child at the end of the day about what he learned! The administration is also great. Elley, the Area Director, takes all concerns very seriously. Like any child care center, things will come up. Elley is quick to address issues and she communicates well with both staff and parents. I think some parents have unreal expectations about what a daycare can do/will do. They have to think about what is best and safest for all of this children, not just one child. I think Elley does a great job of balancing individual needs/requests with what is best for the entire center. She abides by policies which are available for all parents to review, though we are provided with copies upon admission. Chrisi, the Center Director, also responds to concerns and is active in the classrooms so she knows what is going on with everyone. She keeps the center running very smoothly. Michelle, the Program Director, is loving and wonderful. She is firm but kind with all of the children. She is also a great example and influence on the teachers, many of whom are young.Overall, I think this is a great place to send your child. They provide a safe, clean, loving and enriching environment for little ones at a competitive price. They welcome parents at any time during the day. You can pop in and peak at your child through one-way windows to see how he or she is doing. Phone calls are also welcome to get an update on how their day is. Parents should remember that it is a daycare center and there will always be things that are not perfect. However, BSA is open to comments and responds to concerns, which is what is really important.I have recommended this child care center to many parents.

We love Bright Start Academy East! My son is now 3 and has been there since he was 10 weeks old. We were initially impressed with the large outdoor play areas, the cleanliness of the facility, and the security features. But now we have many other things we love too! I think my favorite thing is the low turnover of students. It's a big center but the kids are grouped by age, and my son has been with the same classmates since they were tiny babies together. They are practically siblings and I love that. He loves to go to school and see his friends.Staff turnover is really low as well. Each class has full-time teachers so there is not the revolving door of college students that I expected. And I love center-based care because of its dependability. I never have to scramble for childcare. They are super professional.I can drop by anytime and each classroom has a two-way mirror if I want to peek in and watch my child interacting with his classmates and teacher without me as a distraction. And the center uses an app to stay in touch with parents during the day, including sending home pictures. Even out-of-state grandparents can sign up for the app and get the pictures. I love it!At this point, we have other options for preschool, but we are continuing to drive out of our way to BSA because it's been a safe and loving community for our son. Thanks!

Our child's teachers are great! It has been a great learning experience for our child. BSA has worked hard to find the right teachers for the room's age-level. They're a tough crowd! There was a period of staff turnover and confusion, but I think they've found the right fit now. Kudos to the teachers and the management!

As the parent live lots of places(Seattle--> NYC-->Indianapolis-->Columbia), I have to say this is one of best daycare and preschool. My two little one love them school so much.Be parent, I feeling most positive way,1. Safety, entrance with personal code lock for parents.2. Director and manager super easy to find, and always quickly response your question by email, phone call or face to face.3. Children and teachers both diversity, respect each other.4. Facility is new and clean, design by daycare. You can check you kid any time by Windows.5. Big children playground around building for out door activities. Kids with different age be separate by different area.6. Most important is all the people are nice and friendly. If I have to point any negative side, those not really both us.1. No any epayment, you have to pay tuition by traditional way, write check each week.2. Flu...we really understood no school can solve this issue, kids must build their immu system.3. No any tree on playground, you need prepare sunscream in summer if you kids sensitive to strong sun light. But good for child's bone health, also less mosquitos in fall. : )Nothing is perfect, but hope my review can help you find best one fit your child.

I was very pleased with Bright Start West's care of my infant son. Unfortunately, the tuition is costly and I had to switch to find something more affordable. But if you can afford it, the care was very good and I felt like his caretakers were competent and caring.

We have been very happy with Bright Start Academy. The teachers really care about the children, and they use developmentally appropriate play and care guidelines. They also gladly follow any instructions we give them about child care (e.g., diapering, feeding, administering medicine, etc). The facility is clean and seems well-run. The directors help develop a friendly and community-like atmosphere, with holiday parties in classrooms and other events. Plus, their prices are very reasonable.

Wow. Where to begin. Lets start with the outragious tuition for before and after school care. But really? the crux of the matter is dependability. I received today in my email a letter stating my child, which has been attending for over a year, will be dropped from care in August. There is "no room" in the school aged children for him. Priority is given to incoming children with younger siblings. So. That is a money issue. Because I have no other children in their care, they can drop my son (and other children). How did you not plan for this? its not like we called for a place out of the blue, he's been there a year! I never once complained about paying for all the days he DIDN'T go to their facility, I paid my tuition gladly. I never complained when their employee was late in the mornings, I went in with a smile. I didn't complain when a tuition hike was introduced beginning in May, after all they take care of my most important person. I can see my understanding has been greatly rewarded. Shame on you Bright Starts. Shame on you. Your customer service is awful. So, in summation, if you want a dependable childcare facility where your child can stay until he ages out, I hope you have more than one child or they will drop you for more money.
