Front desk is pretty helpful. Just make sure you are aware of their policies which they do not make a secret of, otherwise you could end up mad about something that's actually your fault. The workouts are fun and motivating, you won't like every instructor so be patient and try different instructors because you will find at least a couple who you really like. Some instructors are more hands-off than others so if you're someone who takes corrections and critiques personally then find someone more hands-off. I personally really like corrections so I really like Missy. These workouts are great if you like variety.

I moved to Columbia last August and my job is fully remote. Working from home can be pretty lonely. I was having a difficult time and had an idea to join a gym to meet people and get myself out of the house. I discovered OTF COMO and immediately signed up for unlimited after a week or so attending classes. OTF has truly been a saving grace for me. It gets me out of my house practically everyday. I talk about it all of the time and even got two of my friends to sign up! Nothing better than working out with friends! ☺️The coaches, staff, and members are all friendly and they truly want you to succeed! I don’t think the price is as expensive as others make it seem but then again I came from a bigger city where everything was expensive! I think it’s worth it though.Lastly, they are so accommodating if I need to late cancel or change my class time. I really appreciate this when life gets in the way.Go check out this awesome studio!

I am a big Orange Theory fan! The OTF experience is a unique and intense one, but the coaches and staff work hard to make sure it’s a great and safe one. They get to know you as individuals and find a way to motivate you with mercy.

This is an extremely positive, kind, inclusive environment and judgement free zone. All the coaches and front desk staff are very friendly and coaches do pay attention to you individually and will correct your movements in the nicest way! I especially love coaches Jamie, Whitney, James and Lee. It's so unusual for me to have so many favorites all in one location!!

I have been going to OTF for 2.5 years and really enjoy the interval training the workouts provide. I use to do the same workouts over and over… boring! I like showing up and having someone else figure out how to push me into becoming better fit.

In my opinion, Orangetheory Fitness (OTF) is hands down the BEST gym in town for me. I was reasonably active until February 23, 2002, when I suffered a major ruptured anterior communicating artery aneurysm. My aneurysm was successfully repaired by an intravascular coiling procedure, and after months of physical therapy, I was able to return to work and drive on my own. However, I was still left with many physical limitations. I had heterotopic ossification in my right hip which was surgically repaired and bilateral peripheral neuropathy in my feet. I joined the Columbia OTF shortly after it opened more than 4 years ago and have been going there ever since. When I first started, I could not walk on the treadmill without the support of handrails and I was barely able to do many of the floor exercises. However, Jamie, the head coach at OTF, modified many of the exercises for me. After more than 4 years of going to OTF, I am happy to say that I can 'almost jog' on the treadmill and I am able to do the majority of the floor exercises on my own. I also love the fact that the workouts are based on your heart rate - therefore, you are not competing against anyone else except yourself at OTF. Incredibly, every workout at OTF is different, and OTF offers something for everyone in spite of their physical ability. OTF is fantastic, and I have made many new friends that I met at OTF. I recommend this gym without any reservation!
