About Orthopedic Foundation for Animals
The Orthopedic Foundation for Animals is a non-profit organization that exists to promote the health and welfare of companion animals through a reduction in the incidence of genetic disease. In addition to providing funding for research in orthopedic and genetic disease in dogs and cats, the OFA offers DNA testing and access to an extensive database on disease statistics for companion animal breeds.

I appreciate the services of the OFA so much. What a relief to have all those records available online and connected to other relations. It has helped me numerous times to demonstrate the health testing my lines have. Persons I have talked with have been extremely prompt and helpful with any issue I have had.

Fastest turn around on x-rays that I have had ever! Staff has been helpful with correcting things when needed and updating puppy records with registered names. So great to have this open database for researching pedigrees.
