I recently worked with River Region Credit Union and through this process I had the opportunity to work with Kylee. She did a great job being open and honest as to what they had available at River Region. She was also extremely flexible and willing to work with me as I had some last minute challenges come up. The entire process was as smooth as I could have hoped for and River Region, and Kylee, in particular made my life easy. I highly recommend working with them at this location and I personally am looking forward to continuing to work with them.

Working with Lisa Wolken on our home loan process was a dream. We presented unique challenges in both the approval and purchase process, and she walked us through every step with patient, thorough explanations. She even advocated for us as we worked out an issue with the seller while under contract. It was a long process, but it helped so much to know we could count on Lisa to be on our side and help us achieve our goal of owning the home. Thank you Lisa!!

Worst bank I’ve worked with. Forged my signature on overdraft protection. Didn’t have staff in their facilities, atms didn’t work properly. If you don’t like to waste money and time this is the bank for you.

Adam made it SO easy to open a HELOC so that I had access to my equality and cash on hand for the closing of my new home. I am definitely expanding my banking services here at RRCU!

I tried to open a checking and savings account and a credit check was initiated by the credit union. I did not ask for credit but apparently, if you do this online, then a credit check is automatic. According to the person I spoke with, they did not know why? Huh? I spoke with Transunion and was told that they could remove the credit inquiry from my account if River Region would issue a letter of deletion. I called RRCU and was told that they would do this and then call me back the following day. 5 days later, no call back. I did get an email asking about my application for savings and checking account. I worked for a credit union in another state. This type of behavior - lack of knowledge and lack of follow up - is not only frowned upon, this would have been a huge deal and would have triggered a company wide retraining. It's possible that my expectation was too high. But come on. If you tell someone you will call him/her back the following day, you call no matter what. It's just simple courtesy. It not only takes a couple minutes at most, it tells the customer that you value them. Obviously, RRCU does not value its customers. Stay away from this credit union.

The best possibilities of both and savings and checking worlds. The new system appears to be far less trouble than expected. The representatives and the managers/officers are very nice people indeed. And, two things are very noticeable: tellers still exist, and new coin counters have been installed.

Highly recommend the RRCU team! Carole has helped make the credit (Car Credit Card & HELOC) process smooth and quick. Their online banking is simple to use and seamless to transfer both internally and externally. If you're in the market for a great bank, definitely check them out!
