About Salvation Army Harbor House (Emergency Shelter)
Salvation Army Harbor House is an emergency shelter that provides shelter, food, clothing, and other necessary items to those in need. Volunteers work tirelessly to help poor people, offering support and services, especially for those passing through or facing difficult times. The staff and volunteers are dedicated and kind, often helping with food and carrying items for families. Many guests have shared positive experiences, such as being helped to improve their credit and find stable housing after staying at the shelter. However, some reviews mention that the shelter is often full and cannot help everyone in need, raising concerns about where to turn in emergencies. Additionally, there have been reports of broken facilities, like a men's shower. Overall, Salvation Army Harbor House is a place that offers vital services and support, but it may have limitations in capacity and facilities.

I don't recommend living here. When I lived here one of the men's showers was broken. There's better shelters out there.

When your wet and cold, get inside, don't care if it's a doorway. They could offer a breakfast for children.
