The Salvation Army Thrift Store offers a wide variety of used items at good prices. Customers appreciate the helpful staff and the large selection, which includes clothing, books, kitchenware, home furnishings, and more. However, some shoppers have experienced frustration with tangled cords on items like curling irons and hair straighteners, and have felt uncomfortable with the presence of shady customers. The store's efforts to prevent theft have also been noted, with some customers feeling overly monitored. Despite these minor issues, the Salvation Army Thrift Store remains a popular destination for those seeking affordable, gently used goods, especially for elderly customers on a budget.
I found a fabulous ol chest here less than 1/4 the current market price.

Not a bad store, but they price off of ebay. Too expensive on some items for a salvation army.

One of my favorite places to go in Columbia, though I only get to go, once or twice a year, because I am nearly 80 years old. I love it when the upper-income donate something I cannot afford to buy, and I can get it here for so little money. I love the staff, too. Nice folks.-Delcia Crockett- Columbia, MO.
