I chose UMB based on a several years old Consumer Reports rating of banks with best customer satisfaction. In my interactions with my local UMB branch in Columbia, MO, I can easily see why UMB earned such a high rating. Everyone there is exceptionally good at what they do and seem to enjoy doing it!

The staff are very professional, and even call you by your name when you walk in the door. It is a very homely feeling, and makes you feel very comfortable. I recommend this bank to everyone who is looking for one.
