I went to the St. Peter's location back in Feb 2022 with tooth ache. Got in for a cleaning and they said I had to do a deep cleaning and had that done because they would not do implants without that cleaning . Today went in for another cleaning and they said I owed money since they are doing some other cleaning and I said I only wanted regular cleaning and they would not do that! So wasted my money going here and will not be going back to finish expensive implants because they try to up sell you on things not needed so guess I will be going around with rods in my mouth since I'm not going back to this dental office I will also be filing a complaint with bbb and my health insurance! Do not recommend this place or any aspen dental!

First time using Aspen. I initially made my appointment for a Motto consult and TMJ discomfort due to an ill fitting crown. I was taken back for my appointment 5 minutes early. Everyone was professional and friendly. No one tried to push any products or up-sell anything. The crown just needed a little extra shaving which they did after the consult. I instantly felt relief. They indicated I didn't need aligners unless I wanted them. The dentist at a different practice who placed the crown said I would need to see an orthodontist to address the TMJ and shifting teeth and would probably need the aligners. This visit saved me SO much money and I'm very grateful! I'll definitely be back for a cleaning because of this experience.

I have one of the best insurance policy's and with that my bills were astronomical. I went in for a root canal, The specialist was phenomenal and I couldn't be more satisfied with him. I had a follow up appointment with one of many dentist that they have. He was rough to say the least and when I said it hurt he questioned me and didn't give me more numbing. while in the chair he belittled the women helping him and made it very uncomfortable for me. while getting x-rays I had two young girls doing them, had to be redone several times and probably took over an hour because they were not doing them properly, too add it was painful because things kept being shoved in my mouth. Very disappointed.

Went in the other day for a tooth pull. Was one of the worst experiences I've had. Doc was so rough and didn't have no care. Used his drill on my lip.. Have had multiple mouth surgeries but this simple tooth pull has been my worst pain yet. Unbelievably sore. Also made me feel judged when I said I couldn't afford another procedure. Other nurses and staff were great though.

The staff is courteous and they explain everything in detail. The dentist and hygienist were nice and they were gentle. I would recommend when doing a crown or other extensive work that the dentist tell the patient what they are doing step-by-step. Example removing a filling putting in a crown setting a mold.

I went in for a cleaning and a check up to the office in Norfolk. By the actions of the dr, I felt like I was in a used car mechanic shop, selling me services that I did not need. The financial person was very pushy , insisting on me paying for all the work that “needed ? “ to he done in advance telling me 3 times that if I don’t address the issues? ,I will make things worst. I was charged for a fluoride treatment before being asked if I wanted one !!!

So I had an appointment set, I didn't even get a cleaning done after a 2 hour wait for the "Doc" or whoever was supposed to come and see me. He went straight into oral surgery while I waited for him to clear me when it was time for me to go. This place needs more structure .

There were no highlights!!!!! Had a lot of dental work done. The hygentist was very professional and I was very relaxed with her. My favorite person is Dee!!!!!! She made me laugh and I also was very calm with her. Thanks Dee for your beautiful personality.

I've had nothing but issues with this place. Do not waste your time. You never work with the same person twice which causes a lot of confusion and unnecessary explaining every single time you have an appointment. They majorly screwed up my insurance twice. Once by submitting the wrong tooth which later caused me to be denied. I had to appeal and it took almost a year to get me out of collections bc of their mess up. They also entered my last name wrong so I kept getting denied and wayyyy over paying. I made an appointment for a crown, only to be told when I showed up that the appointment was removed bc I was required to pay 60% up front before I could make the appointment. I would have paid it if I knew but no one told me. I've been told I need 4 teeth cleanings a year twice, then came in for one and another hygienist told me I only need to come in twice per year. Then when I did that, they made me do a full hygiene appointment since I "missed" two, which ended up being $700 due to their incompetent staff, not know what I actually need. Not to mention the front desk lady is super rude, that is if you get the same one. They change a lot too. I also sat in the waiting room once for 3 hours, they were 10 minutes to closing, doctor hurried me in, quickly felt my gums with his finger, asked if it hurt, told me to book a crown and walked out. Come to find out, I actually needed a route canal. I could go on and on a d on, just don't waste your time!

I went in for broken tooth. The day that I went in I got x-rays and a some kind of picture taken. The dentist was out with covid so I had to reschedule. I came back expecting to have a cleaning as well as seeing the Dentist, but they took the pictures again even though they had already done that. I did see the dentist. They tried to talk me into $13000 worth of work AND they discussed it while walking down the hallway where anyone could hear. I just want that tooth fixed and it took me a while to talk them down to that and I still feel like I'm paying too much copay . I will call my insurance company and see if they are overpriced. I suspect they are. I already paid for most of my copay so i will get that tooth fixed.. I think when this work is done I will find a different dentist. I think they milk insurance companies.it was more like buying a car than going to the dentist. Update about 2 weeks later: I had the broken tooth extracted and although the dentist had to work very hard to get it all out, I was never in any pain and only a little soreness afterwards. I'm pleased with my extraction.

Aspen Dental is the best dentist office I’ve ever been to & everyone is so polite and respectful. You can tell from the moment you walk threw threw the door & by the time you leave they all love there job. You don’t see that any more. My daughter went there & was pleased with there job so I’m happy I took a chance cause I have no regrets. I will definitely go there for all my dental care. Thank You Aspen Dental
