I spent several hours with my mom in The White Hare. They have a great mix of unique one of a kind items and handmade decorations. You can custom design your furniture. My mom spent a long time looking at different combinations with the staff for potential new furniture. I loved the seasonal decorations and creativity of the handmade decorations, displays and tablescapes. The store is two stories and each room is decorated differently. They also have gift items and accessories, perfect for a special occasion or holiday.

This is my wife’s shop. She and her mom have put blood sweat and tears into their business. You don’t see the ins and outs of small businesses or restaurants even when you are part of the family. They should be proud of themselves and have supported so much and so many over the years. Their family is proud of them.

I've shopped at the White Hare for years and have purchased many seasonal decorations I continue to enjoy putting in my home. This store is laid out in a way that inherently inspires great decorating ides. However, the furniture is outrageously expensive for pieces that are not real wood and obviously cheap looking.I was recently looking for a table for my entryway and the White Hare had a piece in the dimensions I was searching for that was listed for $1,300. I was floored the cost was so high because it looked cheap and the material of the piece which was supposed to look like real wood, looked clearly fake. Conversely, Create and Barrel sells a similar piece for the same price as the one at White Hare but the Crate and Barrel piece is solid wood. There's something about a store that grossly overprices its obvious low-quality items that makes me inclined to take my business elsewhere. This coupled with the fact that I find many of the staff to be unfriendly and the return policy unreasonable means I do not recommend The White Hare.

My experience with The White Hare was exceptional! I worked with Diane on my great room, and she delivered exactly what I wanted. She is pleasant to work with, professional and highly skilled at interior design. I am extremely pleased with the finished product.

The White Hare is an amazing home decor store. Best floral around by far, MK is so talented with her wreaths and the prices are great considering how great the floral is. They also have furniture, I have gotten several pieces for my home from there. Easy to work with and very stylish options!

I've been shopping here for many years. I've always been impressed with the fine furnishings, decor, gift items etc. I've probably spent thousands of dollars over the years...but I'll never spend another dime there in the future. Yesterday I brought a vase to have an arrangement made in it. I was told to step over to the floral department and I'd be helped. The lady barked at me to come over to the counter and she would talk to me while she made a bow. Okay. I explained that I wanted an arrangement made in the large vase but I didn't want the stems of the flowers to be seen so possibly a moss or filler of some sort could be put in the vase to obscure the stems. My mother was a florist and I've learned a few things over the years and knew it could be done. She rolled her eyes at my comments when asking me what I wanted in design, colors etc. I was put on guard immediately but decided to keep trying to get the job done. Long story short she took 2 sprigs of berries on branches, put 6 small hydrangeas around it, tied a wire around it and stuck it in the vase. I thought we were trying to get a basic design for the arrangement. I mentioned again I didn't like the stems showing and thought I would be leaving the vase there for her to complete, embellish etc. She seemed aggravated that I insisted on the stems not showing and walked away from me and grabbed a vine of some sort, wrapped it around the stems and threw it back in the vase. Again I thought she's just making sure I'm okay with the look. She decided it needed a 3rd stem of the berries, stuck it in the vase outside of the wired mess she had done and she pushed the vase at me and told me I could take it up front to pay for it! I honestly don't know why I didn't lose it right there on the spot. I think I was just so astonished at how I was treated I didn't have words. I paid $101 dollars for this holy mess and went home. It was absolutely disgusting and I finally found my voice and got right back in my car and returned it. She was standing at the counter when I walked in and when I stated how unhappy I was she never showed any remorse. Just barked at the sales clerk to give me my money back and walked away. Never an apology. I asked to speak with the owner and was told that was her! I've never thought the customer service was great there. Horrible return policy...48 hours!! Rudeness from some of the long time employees. And if you go upstairs they follow you like you are a thief. Yesterday I witnessed the owner put down an employee on her ability to measure something right in front of the customer. The employee was visibly shaking and nervous. I felt terrible for her. It's a pricey store, however I appreciate quality, unique and stylish decor. But there are plenty other places to shop and I will turn my attention and my money to other stores that appreciate their customers in the future. You should too.
