Worst cashier experience I've ever had at a grocery store. In fact, worst cashier experience I've had at any type of store. I'm fully done with Dierbergs as a company, that's how bad the experience was.

Horrible experience here. Do not come here unless you want to be rejected. I went to check out in express lane and the cashier stated I had too many items before even counting them. She told me and my husband to get out of the line and yelled so everyone could hear “if I get you then I would have to get everyone else that brings too many items” and then she asked my husband “if he could read and see the sign that states 20 items or less.” We ended up going to the self check out lane. Honestly, tiring seeing workers not want to work and give such a horrible attitude to their customers.

I ordered food from the hot bar for my daughter and me. Right before we ordered I had a feeling that it just didn’t look that clean. I ignored that brief thought. We both ended up with food poisoning. No one else in my family of 5 was sick and that was the only thing I ate that day. Do not order food from their hot bar unless you want to be virulently ill. I reached out to the store to let them know and because I was the only call they said “they didn’t have any concern”. Therefore we can assume the conditions remain the same.

The grocery stores in my area I believe to be price gouging and they don't have the meat I want to buy. My husband and I decided to go to this Dierbergs Saturday and OMG, what an amazing store. We spent $88 on groceries and at check out I forgot that I had a rewards #. So I got home and checked the website and i did and in the FAQ it said that you could take your receipt in within 48 hours and get the credit for it. I got up today, the7th and did the rest of my shopping due to the weather coming in and spent another $166. I asked a very nice gentleman who was working the self checkout who I needed to speak with to get my points for the day before and he told me to go to the express lane and she would take care of it for me. So I finished my check out and went to that lane. This was around 1:30 pm and I don't know who was working that lane but she told me it would take a while because she had to call the manager. I thought, wow, she is discouraging me from getting my rewards. We are paying so much more for groceries and I was very disappointed in this service. What has happened to customer service today? I won't stop shopping there but I am very disappointed in the interaction with this employee.

I have shopped at Dierberg's Heritage Place for just over ten years. The store is always cleaner and better organized than anywhere else I shop (unless I happen to visit another Dierberg's). Things are usually in stock when other stores are out. The physical condition of the store, inside and out, is well kept and attractive. Any time I've needed assistance, the staff is friendly and helpful. The rewards program is great. The ready-to-eat meals offer a great variety and quality. I can honestly say I've never had a bad shopping experience at Dierberg's and although shopping in general is often a chore, coming to Dierberg's is a pleasant experience.

I’ve never left a review for a business before, good or bad as it’s not really my thing. However, it is imperative that I give some feedback on my experience today at Dierbergs. It should be noted that I visit this store all the time without any concerns or problems.Today I visited the store to get a money order. After waiting patiently in line for my turn to be serviced I was greeted very rudely by the cashier, Fran P. From the tone in her voice at the initial encounter, I knew there would be a problem. I was asked what I needed and after telling Fran that a money order was needed she went on to rudely say well can I see your debit card. After showing my debit card and ID, Fran called the assistant store director letting her know that my ID matched my debit card info. She hung up and stated the max amount you can take out is $2700 including fees. That was not an issue for me as I knew that going in. Fran then talked to me in a belittling tone stating “do you understand that you cannot go over $2700 including fees”, as if I didn’t comprehend her vague statement previously. I should note that Fran never told me the amount tied to the fees. I ended up not getting a money order as Fran was really rude and disrespectful. I let the assistant store director know that I did not get the money order only because of Fran’s negative attitude towards me.I have never felt the degree of judgement, belittling, and disrespect at an establishment like I did today. I literally felt like I was going to explode, not because of a money order but because of the manner in which I was treated. Fran’s actions need to be addressed

I think- basically was complaining about doing her job the whole time- did not like to use cloth bags and basically belittled me the whole time in line. Schnucks Ladue here I come!

I was so glad to finally see the salad bar back, as I’m sure many are. But how disappointed I am now. $10 a pound for salad. Come on.

Hubby and I stopped in here for a Mother's Day gift and to look at their gluten- free food selections. We had heard they had more offerings than many other stores (and they didn't disappoint). In case you are from out of town - Dierberg's is what I'd call a "premier" grocery store. You are gonna find fancy and awesome stuff here, but it will also be at fancy prices. That said it's worth the indulgent occasionally especially for fresh fruits, vegetables and some of their pre-made options. It had been awhile since I'd been in to just shop and WOW I was impressed! So many locally made offerings. Loved that. So much variety of everything! They really have so many more options than any other store in STL. We were amazed walking around at all the different options. HUGE shout out to their cheese sections, liquor section, flowers and dessert options.I'll be back for a splurge and some of those local STL made items that you can't find in stores elsewhere.

Great experience yesterday! Super friendly and helpful. I called ahead and talked to the manager and asked if they could help me with my list. I had to shop for 4 busses groceries. The band I was shopping for was on their second day of tour and needed to stock up. They had two lists each and over 100 random specific items they wanted me to pick up and keep separate by bus. When I arrived at the store the manager asked one of his cart guys Shawn to help me.We picked 5 carts of groceries paid for and out to my van. The managers helped whenever we were stumped finding items. Totally made my life as easy as possible.

I don't understand the sticker campaign, "Priced Right". It is such an ambiguous phrase which is like George Orwell's double speak from 1984. Like, "Double Plus Good"! The question is who is it "Priced Right" for, the Dierberg family or the consumer? Certainly not the consumer. Also the "Low Price" sticker is just silly.

Take it from me, this one is different, and the workers make it great. They are friendly and seem genuinely happy to be there, and grocery items have reasonable prices.

Dierbergs milk has bumped Full Circle Market Organic milk making Super Premium Horizon at $10/gal. the ONLY organic available. FYI Posilac Monsanto bovine sematotropin (growth hormone) raises ILF Insulin-Like growth Factor which is tumorogenic. Do your homework. And do without my business!!! Horrible. Horizon. Greed!
