Tried to rent a washer and Dryer set. Was approved online, but needed to take ID to store for verification. Ok so I do that, but then can't get the promotion because its online only. Fine go back online and order tells me could take 5 business days to process. Really? So wait through the weekend. Still processing on Monday so call customer service, I need to verify my identity AGAIN. Get sent to verification department answer 5 questions. ( like what state did I have a fishing license in back in 2012.. seriously, your asking me about something insignificant that happened 13 years ago.) Ask how long the verification process takes this time, get very rudely told i will receive a email with my results. So bout 5 min later get email that they could not verify my identity and my order has been canceled. So 2 weeks later still no washer and dryer even though been approved and physically verified myself... wow ok then went to competitor look online, got approved and w/d delivered in 2 days..so if I could give no stars I would. And now local store keeps calling asking if I still needed them . Nope already been taken care of, so thanks for wasting my time.

Covid protocol: Masks are not required. Staff will clean between customers. Rent to own furniture stores still have a pretty bad reputation. However, if you have low income and a credit rating that is less than great, these stores are pretty much all there is. I sometimes jokingly call my house "Aaron's house". Over the last six years I have bought furniture for my entire house as well as appliances and electronics. Aaron's rent to own is located on Franklin Street in Cuba, MO - next to East Sun Chinese Restaurant and across the street from Subway. It is a mid size store but packs a lot of furniture into the space. Furniture is grouped by category throughout the store. Mattresses and bedroom sets on one side, dining room furniture on another, living room sets are straight down the center of the store and appliances are towards the back. Televisions and Computers/Laptops/Electronics have their own section as well. This store does not display everything available on the website, but if they don't have something, they will try their best to get what you want. Some previously owned items are discounted and the discounted price is prominently displayed on each item. The price tags also include the regular price, the length of each payment term and the overall price a customer will have to pay for each item. The quality of the items is very good. These are brand name items such as Whirlpool, Serta, etc. Staff is available to answer all questions or to find the answer quickly if they don't know. Before selecting what you want, you will have to fill out an online application. This requires a lot of personal information as well as references including addresses and contact information. It only takes a few minutes to get approved. Approval is not being done by the store personnel but by someone out in cyberspace. Once you are approved and have selected the item you want, staff will go over the contract with you before signing. The contract includes the name of the item, your payment information, whether the payment is weekly, bi-weekly or monthly, how long your payment term lasts (6,12,18 or 24 months) and how much you will have paid at the end of the leasing period. You will then sign the contract and arrange a delivery day. Delivery can happen as soon as the next day or whatever is convenient for you. The delivery drivers will bring the item to your home and place it where you want it. I have never had a problem with them damaging anything. In case of appliances they will also hook the appliance up for you. My stackable washer/dryer combo was installed in less than 10 minutes and the delivery crew brought everything that was needed to get it working right. Aaron's will always deliver the first item you purchase to your home address. In the case of a laptop that might be considered overkill but I'm certain that is to ensure that you actually live where you say you do. Each item I have purchased came with a protection plan. This serves as a warranty while I still make payments on the item as well as protection so my payments are covered should I become unemployed. The exact coverage is spelled out in detail in the brochure they give you as well as on the website. In the case of certain appliances and electronics you will also have the manufacturer's warranty after you have finished paying off your item. I did have a problem a few years ago with a TV that didn't want to connect to my Wi-Fi. Aaron's came and picked it up, brought me a loaner (same size and quality), fixed the problem and returned the TV a couple of weeks later. It didn't cost me a penny and I still have the TV which works great. Something I have learned when leasing furniture: Do your homework. I have seen comparable items at other rent-to-own stores that seemed less prices until i realized that the price quoted by Aaron's was a monthly payment and the price quoted by the other guys was a weekly payment. Weekly payments will always be more than monthly payments. And yes, there will be a late charge if

Around 5:30 pm on Nov 18, 2021 I was in the Cuba MO store to shop for a sofa set and other furniture. I ask a sale rep about the brands they carry and as he started to answer my question a lady at the counter yelled out, "if you want to know about our furniture look it up on aarons.com!" (one *). I looked around the store for a minute and left. Someone yelled out, "have a nice day." ( second *) as I exited the store. Staff were helful and deverted my shopping to the website, no time for that in the store. I was the only customer in the store and there were three store associates.
