I have been coming to this store since it opened. I have shopped at Chicos when there were only stores in Florida and I was on vacation.
Today was the worst experience ever. Through the years the service has gone downhill but never this bad! I don’t write reviews but this experience requires one.
The older woman who waited on me, and I use that term loosely, was beyond rude.! I had 3 items to return from online. Two I had the receipt and one I had the email with order number. She kept saying that item was from last year. I bought it last month. Then she said they do that to get rid of the items. Really? Then she said it was probably final sale but she would do it anyway! What? It was not final sale. I know how that works. And inventory from last year!! No way. She had no idea what she was talking about! And all of this was said in a rude way. This is exactly why I buy online. I don’t have to deal with incompetent and extremely rude sales staff. Very sad. I used to know some of them by name but not now. Big turn over.
Just sad since I still love Chicos but not the sales associates.

Staff are very snobby and rude. I have been treated with disdain in there so many times. There is one nice clerk very down to earth. The others talk about the country clubs they belong to and talk down to you. I really can't believe how I was addressed in there today. It will be the website only for me now on, you will get my returns only

The best place to shop in St. Louis. Every sales associate is very accommodating. If you leave there without a purchase there is something wrong. My whole wardrobe is Chico's.

I've had great experiences shopping at Chico's. Since they've changed their sizing as of a few years ago and the clothing has become more trendy, I'm able to find clothes that fit my small frame that I feel good in - not that "older lady" feel. The sales personnel are all extremely helpful, and when asking for a true honest opinion, they give it, they're not just trying to make a sale. A special shout out to Max who's helped me on various occasions. Since they don't carry a lot of the smaller sizes in the store, I do a lot of shopping online. Whether in the store or online, they have many pop-up sales where you can get a great price reduction on many of their items, so you can save a lot.

I would skip visiting this store the day after Christmas. It felt like it was an inconvenience to make a return. Poor customer service. They need more help at the registers.
